Met the Chicken box At the SF Farmer's market. Love the crispy chicken breast .( bought x 2 pieces). especially Hala 🐔 more humane... saw them cook the meat, fresh, crispy, not oily at all, coating to meat just right, mouth feel perfect; moreover even 3 days later still holds true to the first day taste,

Wish I had pictures but I destroyed my food before I could even think! Lol. The chicken is so good! You can get it in salad form, fried, or in a sandwich! I usually get the sandwich and it’s bomb! A nice piece of chicken well seasoned and with a great crunch! It comes with a yummy sauce on a soft and slightly sweet bun. The tater salad and coleslaw also hit and make a great companion to the sandwich. Also gotta shout out the service! Always treated like family here. You can tell these folks love
what they do, are excited about the food they serve and want the people they serve to feel at home. It always makes this tasty food taste even better. Grab a friend and go eat at Chicken Box now! And oh wait! I forgot about the mochi muffins! Don’t sleep on the mochi muffins my friends. My favorite is the Pandan. ✨✨😋

I tried the two most popular fried chicken sandwiches and they were average. I felt like they fried the chicken too much. Felt burnt. It’s was coo

Just very mediocre and not worth the money.

No seasoning on the chicken plus it taste like the chicken was fried in old grease. The chicken was also abnormally big. I did not bother eating it! Do not waste your money!

I liked my 3-piece meal the first time I ordered it; but this second time, the chicken pieces were incorrect, they forgot my slaw and the pickles were soggy and old. And, this morning my stomach was real mad at me! Won’t be ordering from them again.

For a no Dine- in specialty establishment, I found the atmosphere and interesting. Although spartan great ues was made of the walls and counter-cases, which housed many eye-catching objects. The walls were covered with sports posters and memorabilia. And there were several beautiful photos blown up and framed stylishly. They were so striking I had to ask the gentleman taking orders if he had taken them himself. To which he immediately replied, "no a goog friend of mine came over the two mornings when all the smoke made it look like an Armageddon scene". I was like,ok that's why the photos look so other worldly. I took pictures The day dawn broke and everything was painted in red. He reminded me of the morning.Look like midnight at 8am. Spooky good times right!?Cool looking place and a great guy taking orders while manning the register and making sure everyone s order was correct and if any extras (hot sauce) were needed. I'll go back just to experience his excitement customer service and his great energy! Now here's the rub. I was born in Montgomery Alabama. My parents moved to Ohio when I was three years old. But rest assured all the women on both sides of the family could fry some chicken. I'd have to say my paternal grandmother's chicken was the best with my Mother's fried chicken a very close second. There is definitely an art to it, one I've not mastered. I'm always on the search for great fried chicken. It's been a long long time since I've had authentic, southern fried chicken, and disappointingly, this was not it. The seasoning was kinda low key when it should have been kicking. It also wasn't crispy in yet juicy out. The sides were just fine. I sincerely hope it was a off evening for the gentleman doing the frying. Several friends who knew me well strongly suggested I go get me some good fried chicken there. I was all excited cuz they do know me well.Like I said I will go again and give it another try.I apologize for the harsh critique, but I know you guys are doing something right in there.

Love the Fried Chicken sandwich. Great crunch and flavor. I also ordered the mochi muffin and although it wasn't my thing, if you like the idea of a chewy chewy muffin - it could be an exciting new thing for you to try!

Got the HALAL sucio chicken sandwich and OMG it was amazing? That sauce and chicken quality made for an amazing meal + the well done fries!! Definitely going back to try their other options and bringing friends. The guy at the cashier was very nice and chill, and made sure I was happy with my order!Update: came back again and damn, so good still! They're original chicken sandwich gave me hella nostalgic vibes and I fell in love! The mochi muffins were really good too!

I had the super fries small. They were super delicious. All the sauces on the fries made it to the deepest level of my taste buds. Totally worth it.

I was in San Francisco visiting and I was looking for something good to eat. I was walking around on the Marina Blvd and seen the SFChickenbox food truck, we continued walking around looking at different store fronts and I started to get hungry, I left my partner to run back to grab a quick Chicken Sandwhich but unforntuately they were closing at the time I got back to the truck, I walked around and did manage to find a great place to eat inside, but what made it better was a young lady from the Chickenbox came around handing out Mochi Muffins to the local buisness and She seen me eyeing the bags she was handing out, she gave me 3 muffins and I thanked her and she disappeared into the busy walkway... I really didnt know what she gave me at the time so after I finished my wrap, I went outside and sat with my lady and popped open a bag and much to my suprise was a Mango Mochi Muffin we tried it and it was great! We ate it together before out ferry ride and it was great! The other two muffins kinda made me come here to talk about this experiance...The next day I still had the muffins in my bag and we went out and about into the city, we didnt get to eat much of a breakfest that morning because we were rushing around on a late start, we ended up helping my friend that lives out there for a emergency event which carried on and on... My hunger was calling and I remembered those Mochi Muffins! Yes!, we ate both and they were nothing short of being amazing!! Calmed my hunger and provided me with instant energy until we got to lunch =DThank you so much for being You! So many appreciations! <3
