The flavor of the two Meet Combo with wagyu and Lamb and after that order random ice cream flavor of the day 🍨

Food was great but I can’t get over being seated at a table for four when we had a party of six! Table was very crowded with hot pots appetizer dishes! Finally Emily was nice enough to move us to a decent table but then we had to wait for all our food to be transferred to our new table. A big inconvenience for our surprise birthday guest. Besides that the spicy miso and regular miso broth were very delicious and fun to cook for my first experience at hot pot. Atmosphere was great and was very packed but does get quite hot inside after a while. They did have an all you can eat which is great for large groups.

Came here for my birthday dinner and luckily we were seated immediately. This place is not all you can eat but it’s definitely worth it. Service was also great and I will definitely be back.

Love coming here the past year. However recently noticed that their beef slices are thinner than before. Might be shrinkflation in effect and that dampened the experience a bit.

Their vegetarian option is quite bare, with only a plate of 3 veggies (pumpkin slices, zucchini and fried tofu. Not sure what type of vegetarian only eats 3 types of veggies in a meal option for shabu, they could’ve given more of the normal veggie bowl as a substitute and would provide more variety.

Overall, still the consistent efficient service and the ice cream at the end always is a highlight.

Meat quality is superb. Their cilantro garlic ponzu dipping sauce is very unique and delicious. This is on my list of restaurant tours when coming to San Francisco every couple of years for my food tour. They have shortened the meat menu from a few years ago but still really good beef and pork.I would visit way more often had the city not fallen into disrepair under years of mismanagement.

Perfect place for a chilly, rainy San Francisco night. Shabu Club easily vaulted into my top three hot pot havens in the city after tonight.- Quality meat slices so tender- Appetizers were ?- I mixed green tea and Leche for the ice cream flavors, and it was a match made in dessert heaven.Nima, our server, embodied patience and grace. He deserves a medal. Nima, if you're reading this, you're a superstar! The Shabu Club isn't just about filling your stomach; it's an experience. Their Happy Hour is the golden hour, from 5 to 6:30 PM every day, where you get to bask in what I'd call simplified sophistication. There's a warmth there, a glow of hospitality that makes you feel like part of the family. The vegetarian Gyoza? A hit.The calamari with aïoli? Chef's kiss. And a heads up, you can likely pass on the all-you-can-eat option – the regular and large portions are more than enough to go around. But what made the night truly memorable wasn't just the food or the service; it was the conversations. From discussing how our therapists would describe us (thanks, Marianne) to the art of noodle and meat soaking, we went deep. The words to describe the night? Sensational, chaotic, serendipitous, soaked, and special. And I couldn't agree more. So, if you're in San Francisco and looking for a place that hits all the right notes – amazing food, incredible ice cream, and heartwarming hospitality – make your way to Shabu Club.

Shabu club is my favorite shabu hot pot place. When you know, you know it’s the best when it’s packed at 5pm for dinner. The menu is simplified. You know they paid attention to what the people wanted and stuck to it. Most hot pot places make it so complicated with ordering and offering a million items, making the order process a prolonged dreadful experience. I love their tonkonsu broth, their signature garlic cilantro sauce, the chicken wings and the Kobe fries! They also offer happy hour..visit this place for dinner. You won’t regret it!

Still my favorite shabu spot in the Bay Area. Good meat, great appetizers. And the ice cream at the end is the cherry on top. Happy hour from 5-6:30 every day. It's pretty much the same as it's always been. Can't be beat.

We live in Richmond, the city not the district in SF. But we drive over to this place every weekend religiously because this place has hands down the best Shabu Shabu. Even beats our other favorites - one in Pleasanton and the other in Concord. The best.
