Pretty decent place. Friendly staff, tasty food, Have given me free Rice several times when I ordered close to closing time. Very sweet people.
Does have a little bit of room to improve though. They are a young restaurant that’s not been open too long so they’re still kind of finding their place and what works for them.
Didn’t enjoy my TooGoodToGo order that I picked up from there. Felt like it was overpriced for what it was. But every time I order off the menu like a normal customer, I typically enjoy what i order and think it’s appropriately priced.
Props to them for attempting the Indian pizza . Honestly, I think it’s an impossible dish to make. The whole point of Indian food is that the spices give it flavor and life, but mozzarella works to tone down flavors and make everything taste more similar (hence why any topping can be put on a pizza and it’s generally not bad). You’re never gonna be able to get that satisfying masala kick when you cover everything with cheese, but it’s been somewhat of a Bay Area competition between restaurants to try and make the Indian pizza work and I give props to them for giving it a go and stepping up to the chopping block. It was one of the better Indian pizzas I’ve tried.

The best Karahi Paneer I have tried in SF. The lady is very sweet and hospitable. Great service, best food, and good stories. Will try again and again.

So yummy!
I got this chicken leg tandoori among other dishes like chicken curry, garlic naan, and lamb biryani. All food was great and I loved the customer service. Ms. Shah was incredibly kind and her language barrier to communicate with me was made it all the more endearing. She is clearly very passionate about her cooking, and rightfully so! Definitely recommend.

This aunty needs to talk less and focus on food more. She asked too many personal questions like I was being interviewed for citizenship. Food was raw and the quality was terrible. They use processed meats for the keema naan and frozen premade samosas. The ghosht meat was old and gamee the chicken legs were undercooked and nasty. Very disappointing! visit at your own risk. If there was a -10 star I wouldn’t hesitate to rate them -10.

I love this place! I come here a few nights a week and I have for months. They've recently renamed it so don't be fooled by the number of reviews. Personally I recommend the Lamb Tikka Masala with some Keema Nan... But really what I recommend is the family that runs it. They are such kind people. The atmosphere is very personal and welcoming. You can't go wrong with this place.

We were looking for Indian cuisine and were directed to Spice of India. We discovered new owners and a name change called Shahs Cuisine. 448 Larkin Street.
We had Chicken Masala and the Spinach casserole (not called that officially).
The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable.
Ambience is deli style, but new owners are just getting started. I highly recommend Shah’s Cuisine for good quality food and clean restaurant. We will be back.
