Amazing food and service at a great price point! This is my go-to neighborhood spot. I’ve ordered take-out 10+ times and have also dined in many times. The staff are quick and very friendly - and the food is delicious!! Highly recommend the Shanghai rice cakes, sautéed pea shoots, general chicken, and twice cooked pork.

This other reviews are right that this is Chinese American food, not really Chinese food. But if that’s what you’re looking for portions are huge and the service is friendly! On a Thursday night at 6:30 it was easy to get a seat though it filled up.

Amazing food, fresh and delicious! Service was incredibly fast, even with a crowded group. Restaurant was nice and clean. Food came out within minutes of ordering. Affordable and quite cheap for the portion size, excellent bang for your buck.1000/10! Would come again!

My favorite Chinese in SF. Highly recommend the steamed dumplings and pan fried dumplings. Spicy wonton and spicy lamb are quite good too. rice cakes are good. pancakes are bad.

It is expensive but portions are very big so you may be able to eat more than once from it. Food is delicious

20 stars!! I've frequented this place for years, starting in glen park and then eventually SF when they opened up in the city! Best soup dumplings in the bay! We've tried over 20 soup dumplings in the bay and Shanghai dumpling king hands down has the best! The pot stickers, lemon chicken and fried rice are all amazing too

Food was amazing for the price! Relatively cheap for the city and very flavorful. I recommend the spicy pork dumplings. The service was efficient and fast. I do wish they had a drink menu! The vibe of the place seemed like a place you stopped by, not that you plan to go to which was all we needed and was great for what it was. Thank you again!

Ordered takeout for 4 people and we got the wonton soup, hot & sour soup, stir fried rice cakes, minced pork noodles, steamed soup dumplings, and pan fried pork buns. The minced pork noodles is a little spicy, so beware of that but everything else was delicious! This was a good portion size for 4 people, and everything was reasonably priced as well. The stir fried rice cakes and pan fried pork buns were my favorite!

Not bad but not amazing for Chinese food in SF. I would recommend the spicy wontons because they're topped with a delectable peanut sauce, but the dish really wasn't that spicy at all. Hot and sour soup was very heavy on the sour side; I also wish it was a bit thicker and had more components (it was mostly tofu). I'm normally a huge fan of salt and pepper fish fillet but I think theirs is a bit on the bland side and definitely needed more pepper. However, it's not bad in terms of portion size and price!
