It is a small and simple bar, with a good atmosphere, in San Francisco. The cocktails are well priced, while the beer can be found a little cheaper elsewhere, but is still a good price.

Does anyone know why this place is such a dump? You’d think being at the intersection of Nob Hill and Russian Hill would mean you’d at least have a decent experience, but Shanghai Kelly’s is so trashy that’s impossible. Not a place to go if you want to be treated like a human being but if you’re tech trash you might get lucky!!

Good stuff, hot chicks!
Great place. Super friendly staff and crowd. Fun and a true San Francisco experience.
Great bar in a nice location, Chelsea made us feel more than welcome which as tourists was a nice touch
Usually pretty packed but fun.
Oh yeah, been coming here since 1998. Just introduced my new wife from Cincinnati to it and she loved it. She can wear jeans and heels or wear a black sleeveless dress at the top of the Mark. will definitely be back.
