The place itself is very nice, good selection of food including healthy stuff and comfort food. Staff are very nice as well.The only reason for 4 stars is that the food in the end is a cafeteria food (even if better than most others) vs really tasty food.

Cafe was ok for what hunger I had, but choice and quality of the food wasn't all that. I know this isn't a 4star restaurant, but the perfect quality of hospital this is and the atmosphere should accent the whole experience in UCSF hospital.

Decent food considering it's a hospital cefeteria but they close extremely early and some places aren't even open on the weekend. It's as if they think the hospital clears out at night and nobody ever gets hungry.
