We went for the Valentine’s Day special menu and did the 4 course option with wine pairing, so this review is just for that. I’d love to give 5 stars as the food was truly delicious and the service was great, but for almost $300, we left still quite hungry and with barely a buzz. The 4 courses included a snapper shooter per person, two single plates shared between us and individual desserts. It felt like, for the price and quantity, we should have each gotten our own two plates. The food really was special and I’m happy we went, but it’s difficult to spend that much and leave feeling hungry…

Cool concept & vibe, but pretty pricy for the amount of food you get
Great place to chill and drink wine. Very quirky and service is excellent.

Excellent and friendly service. For our taste, the food was too salty and the place too loud, however.

Decor is super cute but while we were dining here, boy, did it have a weird smell (they make their own cheese so maybe that was it?) it almost killed my appetite. Excellent service great wine and food but man, that smell!

Shuggie's offers a unique, vibey atmosphere reminiscent of an abstract painting. Their creative menu and food presentation are a feast for the eyes. While the Goddess salad was Instagram-worthy, it lacked substance. The cheese pizza was cooked to perfection, but the overpowering garlic chunks detracted from the overall taste. Despite this, Shuggie's is a great spot for a date with its unforgettable ambiance.

Interesting concept, pizza was good, and so was the meatball and goddess salad. Great decor and unusual wines

TLDR: good food and friendly service
We ordered a stone fruit and tomatoes which had a nice use of dill and very flavorful with the contrast of salty and sweet
The crispy mushrooms were perfectly crisp with a ton of umami dressing underneath
The pizza was the small letdown in the food, it was $24 and it didn’t have much flavor other than the Thai chilies. Everything else on the pizza was bland
Also while the service was friendly, there was a huge 20 minute gap in between our appetizers and pizza (our wait between ordering and apps was closer to 10) that we thought they had forgotten the pizza
