$5 for a SMALL DRIP!??Absolutely not. Those of us who are plain Jane- drip coffee lovers, please take your hard earned money somewhere they aren’t trying to hose you. 4.75 + tax is not ok in any economy for a small drip.

Amazing coffee and super tasty pastries

It's a nice spot to stop if you can't get to 7th Street. People here are not nearly SF ish as the original. It's dark, and not much thought went into the design. For sure, a different architect than the original. But, mainly, staff is just ok at best. I know it's impossible to find good peeps.

Slow as hell. Be warned. Coffee is mid. Pastries are good. Everything is expensive.Still always crowded with tech bros/girls though.

Friendly service. Good pastries. Good cold brew. My friend enjoyed her matcha latte. The ham and cheese croissant had mustard. There was a fruit center in the pistachio croissant. Several tables inside. More seating in the parklet outside.Kid-friendliness: A lot of families with small children in the parklet.

I like the interior design of the coffee shop. But they really need to improve on the customer service. The baristas rarely greet customers. Plus the coffee is

I met my friend for coffee at this super cute coffee place and I have never been here, the girl that assisted me was super sweet and we chatted for a bit but their decaf americano first of all was tiny and too strong as in bitter and I was not a fan. Very disappointed since it cost me $4.50. One start for the customer service, one start for the ambiance of this cute coffee shop and one start for oat milk being out on the counter.CC accepted.

This is one of my personal favorite spot for coffee. This is a quaint place with a nice combination of good coffee, good people, and a generally chill + inviting atmosphere.

A cute and nice spot overall , the wait was .. how do I put it ! LONG .. 3 people on staff.. , they have 2 massive la marzocco coffee machines and about 9 drinks ahead of me .. and one barista . Coffee was good but you could feel the « rush » in the flavor . I had high hopes ..

i say this in the kindest way possible, please remove the matcha latte from your menu. i know it's a coffee shop not specialized in matcha but truly tasted like ice and sugar milk in a cup for $8. i have never felt more unsatisfied. of course they have other drinks i've had in the past which are much better, hot masala chai and their vanilla paste latte were both 4/5. their service and ambiance is great. please take the feedback and either remove the matcha or improve it because it really was one of the saddest matchas i've ever paid for :( it did not pass the matcha test

I'm no coffee connoisseur but my visit to Sightglass Coffee left a bit to be desired. I was in charge of the morning coffee run and settled on Sightglass after considering just about every other coffee spot between Mission and Potrero Hill. I'm really more of a kid when it comes to coffee, I definitely like my syrups and sugars and non-dairy milks. A lot of the other spots in contention were barebones, "drink this coffee for the coffee bean quality"-type spots and Sightglass initially struck me as a good balance between the two teams.I was on my electric scooter this morning and I went past the shop my first time looking for it. It's pretty camouflaged behind the trees, but rest assured it is there. There was a line after I ordered but only one person in front of me when I first stepped inside. There seemed to be a good amount of seating but every table was taken as far as I could tell. They only have one size for hot coffees and one size for cold coffees, which was quite problematic considering I had quite a ways left to scooter to reach my final destination. I informed the cashier of my reality and she said the only way to accommodate would be to leave room at the top of the cup--to which I agreed--but you already know in my head I was just thinking of how it was really unfortunate to still pay full price for less product. I got the vanilla paste latte with whole milk for my friend and the vanilla iced cold brew with oat milk for myself. The cold brew came out first, filled to the brim. Not a problem, I just took a couple of sips. Then the vanilla paste latte came out, also filled to the brim with some beautiful latte art on top. Since it was for my friend, I didn't want to take any sips off the top. I guess I could've poured a bit out myself but I didn't want to make a mess, so I bit the bullet and did my best to keep things as stable as possible. To no surprise the vanilla paste latte did end up spilling quite a bit in transit, but despite the messy presentation my friend said the vanilla flavor was not nearly as prominent as it should be. I wasn't a particular fan of the vanilla iced cold brew either, it wasn't nearly sweet enough for my taste and wasn't really giving much vanilla flavor either. Sightglass can definitely be a good spot, I just wouldn't recommend it if you're anything like me.

-- NO WIFI!C'mon sightglass! Being in the heart of SF, I expected there would be wifi. I was all set to spend sometime here at the cafe working. There was no wifi, no cellphone reception. No air circulation within the cafe.I had to finish my coffee to get out of there. The coffee was definitely great, no complaints! With such great ambience, service, and coffee, you would've checked all boxes if there was wifi as well.Ambience 5/5Coffee 4/5Service 5/5Food 3/5. I tried the chocolate croissant, which one can definitely skip!
