Service here was basically bad. Entitled young adults. Especially the Spanish lady. Highly not recommended go to another Coffee shop.

This used to be my #1 coffee spot in the city, but in the past few months the service has become rude and gloomy and the coffee has been super inconsistent. There are days when I’ll look inside to see who the barista is before I order my coffee because I’ve identified who can and can’t use their Spirits correctly, and I would rather go without than have a bad espresso. Some eye contact and just a “hello” goes a long way in making customers feel welcome. If a Hedge opened up nearby they would be doomed. Please please please find some friendlier staff - the service industry isn’t for everyone and you are hemorrhaging customers.

Some of the best coffee in the city. Never made a bad drink, and they sell some of my favorite roast beans in the Bay Area

It’s insane how consistently slow and rude the staff are at this store.
The barista not only don’t greet you but also rolled her eyes lol. Only in SF

Some of the worst service you’ll find in the city. Slow, the baristas are rude, and the coffee is nothing special. Don’t see what attracts people to this place. Definitely better off going to a different spot. Especially Divisadero location.
Sightglass Coffee is a fantastic place for coffee lovers. The coffee is always fresh and flavorful, the space is beautiful, and the service is consistently great. Highly recommended!

Had the worst macchiato of my life here today. Totally sour, finished like lemon juice (and I pull light roast all day at home). I think the barista must have been new because she tried some latte art and then gave up and plopped two weird blobs of foam. I get on the job training, but someone needs to be checking.
If you’re from the south and want a taste of what SF hospitality is all about, come here. Your barista will present a cool sense of disinterest, staring at you blankly while you ponder whether it’s worth paying $6 after tax for a for-here tea that they won’t even bother serving you in a non-to-go cup. Perhaps the only redeeming quality is that this is where the cool people go. And the dog spotting.

I normally enjoy the place. But now that the double espresso is more than $5, I'm even more picky than picky. The guy poured the shot into a paper cup, and then transfered it into the ceramic cup. Seriously? Back to back major espresso faux pas ! They normally follow the right protocol here or at any location. Interestingly I was telling someone today that I appreciated their systematic approach 🤔 well!

Great coffee shop with amazing pastries and ambience.
The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—perfectly paired with excellent coffee. The service is warm, friendly, and efficient, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for relaxing, catching up with friends, or getting some work done. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

It’s the people. The coffee is great, love all the tables. But my goodness. The people working are cold, unwelcoming, and really look like they couldn’t be bothered to even be there. This isn’t an isolated event. Every time we go (fiancé and I) it’s the same experience.
If the owners goal is a warm and friendly atmosphere- neither of their locations are hitting the mark.

Strong and punchy espresso, always a fuzzy place. Good for working remotely if you don’t mind not having Wi-Fi nor outlets (not that I could see anyway!)

Was looking forward to grabbing a latte here while in town. What kind of coffee shop shuts the espresso bar down BEFORE closing?! Super unwelcoming vibe. Definitely picking somewhere else next time around. 0 stars.
No wifi, crowded
