Absolutely darling experience with lovely food and tea! Great variety and incredibly nice servers. The banana cake and cookies were unbelievably good, and the clotted cream goes well with literally everything.
Wish I had grabbed a little hot sauce, or that it was a little bit cheaper, but this is definitely worth a visit on a special occasion!!

What an amazing time. I made reservations to surprise my wife for her birthday. We were 10 people and it went off without a hitch. Teas kept flowing and all the food was great!! Thanks for making it a special day.

We went in a few weeks ago as part of a bachelorette party weekend in SF. The owner and her friend (who was our server) made our brunch even more fun, with great conversation. The food and tea were excellent with plenty of goodies and sandwiches to choose from. The ladies and I had a great time there, and hope to come back again soon!

SIP Tea Room on Lincoln across from the Park is a very pleasant place to be...thanks to Shannon and her gifted team. I can personally attest to the quality of their apricot scone and quite strong Scottish tea.

High tea is so hard to find and this place does it so well. Plenty of tea options, service is quick, and the space is very cute.

It has been a while since I visited Sip, and I feel like I'd forgotten how lovely it is. Our food was fresh and delicious, and our host was friendly and very welcoming. It was a quiet and chilly Thursday afternoon, and the tea room is so charming and warm. I loved all the small details.

Just had to give a shout out for the lovely Sip, San Francisco's one-of-a-kind tea room in the Sunset. What a neighborhood treasure! Gracious, attentive host/owner and her staff create a warm environment to enjoy delicious, affordable, traditional English tea fare. Impeccable service, impressive tea selection, and lovingly hand-crafted savory and sweet treats have made Sip my go-to for catching up with friends, taking out-of-town guests, and celebrations small and large. The food and service is of such consistent high quality, and the atmosphere so welcoming I chose Sip for hosting my daughter's baby shower. Every visit to Sip confirms why this gem is so popular with locals and non-locals alike.

We went for a baby shower. Food was average. They make you preselect teas - we were allowed to select 2 teas for a party of 10. One of the teas we didn’t like but they were not able to switch that out. For a tearoom and a party of 10, two teas feels very little. They were also unaccommodating about a few other things - like an extra person that had previously cancelled but showed up on the day of. Not worth the price for sure.
