Came at 2 on Friday the 21st with my daughter and they were closed without notice/warning. Other reviews mentioned the same. Came here once before and enjoyed the desserts but frustrating to be turned away today.

Came all the way here cause they say there are open. And they are not. (1:40 on a Thursday)

I love this place. Their treats are works of art and are delicious. The owner is one of the nicest and sweetest people you can ever meet. Yesterday I had their Halloween themed treat. Cute and delicious.

I am SO incredibly frustrated. Wanted to buy a dessert and chocolates here for a friend’s birthday that would have perfectly matched her pumpkin theme. (They had an amazing looking pumpkin cheesecake.) Came in the afternoon and specifically checked hours: sign said open until 7 pm on Friday.

I came at 5:55 pm and shop was closed! Sign on door says “Open until 7 pm!” I even specifically came in the afternoon and told the woman working that I would come back later after work. She could have told me that they would be closing early that day!!

If you’re going to randomly change your hours, please notify your customers and change your sign!! This is the 3rd time this situation has happened to me in 2 weeks at SF businesses. It’s really getting old that it seems SF businesses’ hours don’t match what’s posted! Now I don’t have chocolates for my friend’s birthday and it’s too late to go elsewhere.

An absolute gem in the mission. I have been coming to this spot for nearly a decade(?!). Creative, curated masterpieces! Edible art! The chef here is really thoughtful regarding local and seasonal ingredients and my mind has been blown more times than I can count. Mother earth cake anyone??? If you see it, get the mango chili lime gelato pop. The staff is always welcoming, and the space is *very* photo op friendly, good lighting, fresh flowers.. the lot. Perfect for treating yourself or bringing a beautiful gift to a friend. They also do custom cakes for all occasions.

J'adore Sixth Course!

Majority of items have artificial food coloring… hence not edible…?

Every pastry I’ve tried here has been fantastic. Like Craftsman & Wolves but better, and the flavors cycle pretty frequently. I’m very lucky to live right around the corner…

A great place for dessert in the Mission. However, I find their hours very strange. This place gives off "dessert bar" vibes, which is GREAT, but they close at 7:00pm. If they shifted their hours and opened until 10pm, they would get MUCH more business from folks having dinner in the Mission and wanting something sweet afterwards.

Can't be bothered to accurately manage communicating when they are open - Tried several times, just to dodge crackheads for view of a cheeky closed message on the door (contrary to their website and phone message)... Pass.

Was super excited to try Sixth course on our recent visit to SF! Boy! The creativity of these desserts were gorgeous.I immediately picked a few favorites and my family picked what they wanted. The cakes tasted really good and I can see all the effort and creativity that goes into it. The staff is great too. When you walk into the store you can go to the very back and see through the glass window what looks like where all the baking happens. Very clean and neat!We also picked up a few macrons and they were delicious. Some of them tasted better than the others and some were less flavorful. We also got to park right off the street on a weekend so it wasn't super busy in the area. This is a good try if you are in the area.

Parking: street parking so its a hit or miss

TLDR: 2.5 stars. Mango was pretty good but the Netflix and chill had freezer burn on it and tasted like nothingI came in and it was pretty empty around 6pm. For a dessert shop, I would assume they open later but they close at 7pm so I had to come before dinner. The mango one was pretty good and not too sweet, it reminds me of the Mexican mangoes with the taramind powder sprinkled on top. When I started on the Netflix and chill, I realized they it had freezer burn on it after the first bite. It was much harder (more frozen) than the mango one and didn’t taste fresh at all. After a few bites I also realized there really wasn’t much flavor to it either so I just stopped eating it and threw it away
