Love Slice House! It is great when you don't want to order an entire pie. My favorites are their New York style and deep dish slices. The only drawback is when you take it to go, the toppings gets smeared on the top of the box. What once was a beautiful pizza slice is now smushed.

Every slice is made with authentic Italian ingredients and it's probably one of the best pizzerias in San Francisco. The vibe is relaxed, casual, and cool like the Haight-Ashbury neighbor. It's popular, so remember that good things come to those who wait, but it's better to order ahead.🍕

my friends and I came in with boxes from Escape from New York just down the street. We were getting weird looks from the staff initially (makes perfect sense) until we disclosed to them that we were doing an intent comparison of pizza slices available on Haight Street. Upon return to our home in an undisclosed location, very close to both pizza places, it was very quickly deduced that Slice House had the superior quality pizza slices in every shape and form, and that they too are in possession of a superior quality ranch side. The quality of dough was observed to be more airy and light easier to consume. The slice of pizza was at least 35% larger. The sauce had a particular taste and sweet, sweetness, unfound to most mortal mouths. The pepperoni, an intensely flavorful cut of pig. We were also offered free parmesan at Slice House that was not made available to us at Escape from New York. Escape from New York is still a quality pizza place, however, do not defer to them unless slice house is already closed. That should be the only reason or factor that affects your decision to go to that one between the two. Otherwise trust Slice House every single time.

Usually I love their pizza. This time we decided to go vegetarian and ordered the tomato pie. Disappointed to say the least. Very little if any cheese and just tomato sauce. No flavor.
They made me whole and sent me a gift cert. Thank you

For some reason, the quality here just isn't on par with the main restaurant next door. It feels like a watered-down version of Tony's. If you’ve had a few drinks and need food now, slice house or Golden Boy will work, but don't expect anything spectacular. It's strictly 'average' pizza. Tony's on the other hand, is my number #1 pizza choice in the city. If your not in the area, dont bother with this place, it isn't worth the travel.

Salad was delicious 😋, Pizza has good soft dough with crispy crust on outside. Sausage and pepperoni toppings good quality. I gave it 4/5 only because it was a little greasy. But if you love pizza like that 5/5.

One of the best pizza chains I've been and I've been to my fair share of them.
Great value in their slices which are massive, the regular New York style ones and not the squares.
Their wise guy is a staple order for me and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who is close enough to visit.
