I waited for an hour to get my pizza only to get delivered a cold soggy pizza. The bread was dry and uncooked the sauce was dried up like a paste and was also uncooked and the cheese was cold. They told me 15 minutes and for the 80 dollars I spent on two pizzas I expected better. They dominos 8.99 pizza would have been better and at least it would have come hot. I have been there many times before and the pizza has never looked or tasted like this. The staff forgot about my pizza and just threw it together last minute because they knew I had been waiting for a while. I wasn’t even given napkins or anything else and many people who were served before me had better quality pizza. Don’t come here and say expect the quality of the sit down restaurant.

Not so great. Had a large pie to go 1/2 cheese & 1/2 sausage.. pie was way undercooked -almost like a take and bake) and lacking flavor. I was expecting something great..!?

If only I could leave zero stars... The pizza was mediocre and the cookies gave my wife food poisoning so severe she's still dealing with the effects days later.

This restaurant clearly does not take food handling/prep seriously where safety for their customers is concerned and we will never eat here again--I highly recommend you don't either.

What a discovery! If you are around Haight this is an ideal place to have something quick or to go. The Detroit pepperoni was AMAZING!!!

Gave you 5 because the food was good, but just to have it said, with this kind of name we as diners expect to walk in and out without waiting. The 15 minute ticket time reheat might be worthwhile for quality but it betrays the business name. We thought it. Watched the next two people in line have the exact same reactions. One guy even asked what if anything WAS ready to eat. Just gotta tighten up the method here friends.

Best pizza I have had in San Francisco. Just St got back from NYC and did my best to find the best slice, this place has them BEAT.

I tried the Detroit style pepperoni, amazing with sweet red sauce. The think round ours were also amazing, chewy and delicious with a bit of SF original sourdough taste and texture that, dare I say, made it even better than New York pizza.

As of 2022 (RIP Arinell) this is the best NY pizza shop in the city. The crust is excellent, sauce mild, A+++ overall. Their Sicilian style pie is way too greasy but the Detroit pie is very good. They have vegan pizza options, plus good sandwiches. Their chocolate chip cookies are good for being made at a pizza place!
Excellent service here; they go above and beyond.

Waited 20 minutes for a line of about 7 people (I’m the fool for not giving up sooner) only to get to the front and be told it would be another 20 minutes before they had a cheese or pepperoni slice.

I’m sure it tastes fine but you’d have to be trying to run it any more poorly
