Very unpleasant experience, unfortunately! We were there for an event on Sunday (Nov 1/2020). Seriously, if you wanna ruin your off day with their poor service and strange food service policy, you can go to this place. We were 4 people and literally forced to order a dish from the menu individually so we could order our drink. Not for the table. PER PERSON!! They think that they've found a way to make money by following this policy, but this is stealing! Moreover, don't surprise when you charged the 20% service fee on your bill even though you get the bad food service. This is lawfully wrong. They don't even specify that on their menu and their website is unaccessible. Know your rights as a customer otherwise they will continue stealing from us! On top of everything, the manager threw the bill to me and said YOU GOTTA PAY. Such a disrespectful attitude and bad hospitality!! As a woman, I felt so uncomfortable with his manner. Stay away from this place. One pro; security company's employees and manager were more helpful and kinder than servers.

Beware any events in SoMA Garden SF put on by Temple Nightclub... They are misleading and sneaky with their ticket pricing language and this may in fact be fraud. For a DJ event my friends and I attended yesterday, the ticket sold on Eventbrite was for a booth of 6 for $250. The description said that this included food (fejoida) and $130 prepaid credit towards any other food/drinks our group spent while there. After we got to the event, we were told that actually, there was a minimum $500 spend for our group (which was NOWHERE on the event page until they added it DURING or right before the event). To make things even worse, they said it was $500 ON TOP of the ticket price (so the original $250 didn't even count towards it)Completely ridiculous. Do NOT trust this company AT ALL. We want to support businesses during this hard COVID time, but these kinds of tactics are completely without integrity.

There is a food minimum in order to get drinks. Just get chips and salsa or truffle fries. That's it. We got the margarita and it was so sweet we got 4 shots of tequila to make it better. Food is like airplane food. We got burgers, burrito, and a lot of appetizers. Just save your bucks. A good place to drink w friends and just have fun and everything is clean and safe. No food... unless you fancy airplane food. Tab was $350. Way too much $100/ person. Go to Nobu or Roka

This place is magical. As a healthcare provider, My experience was safe, clean and lots of fun! This outdoor concept is brilliant. Food is great, drinks are the best and the service exceeds expectations! Shout out to the bar tenders who took care of me and my group of friends when we visited! Can't wait to visit again and will highly recommend locals and visitors to check out this spot!

I have gone to soma garden a couple times now and I'm incredibly impressed with how creative they've gotten during such difficult times. I've had their hookah- on point( pineapple ) my favorite. The food was excellent! Chicken sandwich is my go to, and you gotta try the cupcakes. The variety of drinks is awesome for an outdoor space. The champagne is my go to, but Moscow mulle is bomb. The music gives it a perfect hangout ambience to hangout with your inner circle of trust. The most important part to me is how they are constantly checking to make sure everyone is wearing a mask and making sure people are at their designated place. I love that. Will be coming back very soon.

I've never been to temple so I can't compare to that. They did a pretty good job with what they had though, which was a parking lot. They're lucky to have the salesforce park behind them, which adds an aesthetic background. --- When we went a couple weeks ago, for BRUNCH. It was mostly empty. Wed made a reservation but you really don't have to. Service -- Terrible. She wasn't there when we wanted her and when she was, she gave us confusing information about the menu options (what sides come with the sandwiches, but they don't, actually yes I said they did). Drinks -- wicked strong. My friends liked their frozen margaritas (comes in a cute pineapple cup!) and bloody Mary's, but could barely finish their 1 drink because they were so strong. I didn't like mine, just tasted like fennel booze. Food -- large portions but kinda cold.. they came in plastic containers so not sure if they had to bring them from somewhere or they were premade in the back. Cold fries and burgers/salmon sandwiches aren't super appealing. I preferred my partner's burger to the salmon -- salmon was pretty bland. We hadn't eaten breakfast so we finished everything though and was STUFFED. Pretty pricey for a sandwich and fries so at least they were generous! --- We actually went back for their EVENING block for a bday which actually costs $20+service charges on eventbrite and we started with a pitcher of margaritas. They were terrible and super strong (and I don't mind boozy). I can't even imagine what they put in there but I couldn't finish my lil cup. I just had champagne after that, which is actually a good deal considering how much you're paying for terrible mixed drinks. The server (also our brunch server) somehow managed to give us beers that exploded on multiple occasions. Redeeming factor -- surprisingly delicious wings! I get that everyone's just trying to make it thru this pandemic but I feel like this level of quality doesn't jive with the prices they're charging, the half-empty atmosphere, or us not being wasted in a dark club.

Really thankful for the time and effort the Temple family has put in to create SOMA Garden. SOMA Garden really provides a unique drinks, dinning, and music experience. I know that I have been dying to get out of the house and into the sunshine and they created a safe space to do so durning COVID. Thank you Temple family keep up the amazing work I look forward to coming back as much as I can!

Today was so hot in the city. I'm so happy there was somewhere outside I could sit and grab a quick bite to eat. The Hooka was great, haven't had one of those in forever. I recommend the berry flavor. Our servers were both very friendly and super cute. It's hard to get a vibe when you're not allowed to sit but hearing some music that wasn't on twitch was great. The visuals on the wall were groundbreaking. and where did they get that projector?? Japan?! I need one on my wall. The speakers were so clear I thought it was a live concert. I was expecting port a potties but couldn't believe they had a full five star trailer. The bathroom experience alone deserves five stars. Much nicer than the bathrooms in the club . I will absolutely come back and if I was getting married tomorrow I would seriously consider having our reception here. Soma Gardens is an amazing escape from all the COVID, zoom and quarantine vibes in my house. Not quite Bali but not far either. Think of an urban paradise set between two buildings. Who knew such a thing existed?! All things considered Soma Gardens is perfect for all occasions from divorce parties and Quinceañeras to Bar mitzvahs. If I'm not at Chruch Sunday I will be here. Thank you Soma Gardens family.

An oasis during these challenging times. Started with fries and Mac bites. They arrived at our table piping hot which was nice. Drinks were cold and well made. Next round was the wings, buffalo sauce was classic and they were cooked perfectly. The DJ played lots of great hip hop. Fans of the Bay Area sound will appreciate the the Mac Dre and E-40 mixed in with all the usual suspects. The whole thing felt safe, well organized and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

So they're trying to be an outdoor nightclub. That's an amazing concept. Pathetic execution. I went to Soma Garden at Night ft. Fabes. Tl;dr - everything pretty much sucked. DJ was bad and there was no atmosphere which made the whole experience awful. Food was trash - 3/10. It's fine, who's going to a nightclub for food? It was greasy and pre-cooked. They even serve it in plastic containers. Drinks 5/10 - nightclub drinks aren't supposed to be special, but they only serve bottom shelf stuff. Music - 0/10. I don't know if it was Fabes or Temple's fault, but that had to be the worst DJ performance I've ever seen in my life. 0 transition and he switched genres nearly every song. Spotify would've been better. It was so jarring and killed any vibes. Atmosphere - 2/10. Jeeeesus. Food sucks? Fine. Drinks sucks? Fine. Music sucks? Might be a bad DJ/night. If you mess up the atmosphere, then you just suck. Temple was a fun club if for no other reason than it was high production value. The atmosphere was pathetic. It was dark except for a few flood lights that were very harsh, the music doesn't reach the back (they have two speakers that sit in the front), no one was dancing, and they didn't have any decorations aside from a few plants. I loved Temple. Save your money because this is not anywhere close to a nightclub experience. Or even a fun one...

They've created a fun COVID safe environment to socialize in. Rather than attempting to emulate what it is to be an indoor club the Soma Garden crew does a great job of transitioning the fun outdoors. Good food. Great staff. Solid music. They're really doing the damn thing. Kudos for adapting so well in these uncertain times.

I am so impressed by this garden set up! I came here on a Saturday and the vibe was perfect: relaxed with a touch of bougie just how I like. The couches are so comfortable and I love how spaced out everything is. The hookah was a nice touch. The food was pretty good and I really like how they came out in containers with lids. This place is doing a great job keeping everything clean. The bathrooms are AMAZING. I felt like I was in a luxury yacht.

A great place to go and enjoy good food and drink and chill while listening to good music. Seating is pretty spread out and I felt safer during covid time here than any other place I've been.

Do not go here. It's a waste of time. It's just gna eat your money more than a stripper late on rent. The waitress who served took shots from us without asking. A small bottle of Don Julio was 300$ and they trying hype u up and play hypy music and yet telling u to sit down u can't dance or go wild. They trying to have a club scene but with countless restrictions u are better off having fun at your house. I understand they are just tying to follow the rules but overall it's not fun and They just tying to make their money.
