If I could give ZERO stars I would. These people are straight up rude and will not accommodate special situations. No wonder there are SO many reservations open for tea at this place. No onewants to book here for a reason. I have only given 1 star to a couple places in my life and this one is one of them. Don't go here!

Beautiful place to celebrate a birthday or any day! The plethora of flowers makes it feel like you’re walking into a secret garden. The food is delicious but the best part is the drinks! One thing to note for people not from the Bay Area: the neighborhood is challenging so if you drive, there is a garage a couple blocks away or take transit and save on parking. Just be vigilant as you walk to and from the restaurant.

I chose this place based on the ratings and the pictures. This restaurant has gained business due to filtered pics. I would recommend managing your expectations... all cushioned seats are stained, the flowers are starting to fade in color, and the tea pastries consist of store bought danishes and wonder bread finger sandwiches. Now, the blueberry scone was spot on! That was the best item served... but that was the only notable item. We had a raspberry allergy and made reservations days in advance, yet they still served raspberry items only removing the fresh raspberries from the cheesecake and plate. It's just not worth the cost or the time/attention given the quality of the food and the decor with the plethora of amazing restaurants in the city.

I took my young daughter here for an Afternoon Tea experience and it was absolutely epic! The entire set up was so gorgeous, so much attention to detail, beautifully decorated and everything that was included in the afternoon tea was mouthwatering delicious. I highly recommend it for everyone, it is truly one of the best afternoon tea experiences. The service was super friendly and attentive, everyone looked like they truly enjoy working there, so many smiles, my daughter fell in love with Son & Garden restaurant.

For my wife's 39th birthday brunch, the deep fried french toast I had was tasty, and she really loved her lobster benedict. The fantasy drinks were a cool touch, and the whole place looked fun and whimsical. It was a special way to celebrate, making everything about the day memorable. Happy birthday Jess!

We loved the vibe at Son & Garden. We went for brunch and the food was delicious and there were many options. The drinks were fun and decorative. Service was equally good. We had a great time.

Food was good, not great. Service was very average. We were surprised that our bill of $109 for two people with no alcoholic drinks became $147.98 with mandatory 20% “tip,” employer mandate and tax. How can they expect for people to come back? There are too many better restaurants in this town w/o the tax and tip surprise. The pandemic is way over….

This place pre charges 20% tip right of bat on drinks or food .( honestly I usually always tip over 20% but I dont like to get pre-charged , tip aint mandatory you have to earn it ) . Tea experience set menu mehhhh honestly would not even get that stuff even if given for free . Staff is also uptight af , 30 seconds on cut of and they are we cant do drink is past time ( this is a 3 pm ) . Seems lots of ladies go there cuz of roses back ground . Honestly boyfriends, do your ladies a favor get them ROSSEs and save your self a trip on this place .

They have beautiful decor and they provide exceptional service! The food there is good, but it’s not mind blowing. I would appreciate if they offered more food options that goes well with their decor theme. That would be sickening. I will still give a 5/5 because their staff members do really work hard

MUST RESERVE AFTERNOON TEA 48hr in advance. Was disappointed to find out this rule when we walked in so just got appetizers. Tuna tartare was average. The space is cool and very Instagram worthy. Has normal dinner menus and some bottled beer/wine.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
