Sorella is one of our favorite restaurants in SF. We're moving out in March, so we had to come back to it one last time, and, as with all the other times we have been there, it did not disappoint. 5 star service 5 star food and drinks 5 star setting What more could you ask? Shoutout to Jocyln for bringing us an extra treat at the end of the night and for being a great waitress. :) Timo

What an absolutely amazing dining experience that left us on a high last night. Server Margaret and manager Robert helped us celebrate our 20th anniversary with an incredible meal, wine pairings, and service. We were seated at this perfect corner table that was both quiet and fun. Each dish brought out was uniquely fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The ocean trout antipasti is a must. The pastas were extraordinary - innovative and tasty. And whatever you do - even if you are like me and constantly on a fitness bent - DO NOT SKIP DESSERT - especially the warm spice cake and malted tiramisu. We will be back - soon!

The martinis are tiny and expensive. My glass of Chardonnay was not good. We didn't get out food for 1 1/2 hrs after being seated so we were starving by the time the food came. My Charred Caesar Salad was unedible because it was drenched in tons of dressing with an overwhelming taste of very tart lemon. I asked if they could remake it, the second time around it had less dressing but the lettuce was charred too much so it was bitter. I could not eat it but didn't bother to take it back again at that point. My husband's short rib pasta was small and very oily. The trout crude appetizer was the only thing that was good. We would never go back!

Each pasta dish was unique, fresh and delicious. The pumpkin ravioli and the spicy spaghetti with clam sauce were both wonderful! Their classic Parmesan Budino is divine. Great atmosphere and service.

Wow, what a great restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted kindly by the hostess. She was so sweet and even checked in on us during dinner. Our server Joselyn was very helpful and attentive. She helped steer us in the right direction of what to order since everything on the menu looked delicious. The food was outstanding. The portions aren't super big but perfect which allowed us to order a few entrees. We started with the pan seared brussel sprouts, stuffed calamari, & roasted baby carrots. We then ordered the ricotta strangulet, pumpkin caramelle, braised short rib cappellacci, and the drunken mafaldine. Wow, everything was truly amazing and cooked to perfection. We didn't have room for dessert but our bill came with a tiny assortment of cookies which was the perfect way to end our meal. Thank you Sorrella, we will definitely be back to enjoy your amazing cuisine.

Food was pretty good but they were severely understaffed and the service was SLOW. Over an hour from when we arrived to when they took our orders
