Service and food are top tier. Love the pork dish and the duck dish. Their food has layers and layers of flavors and tend to be strong. Very enjoyable! Service is top notch.

Parking can be hard here.

Fine-dining experience at Sorrel was simply amazing! Each course was delicious, served in a unique style that made it a culinary delight. They accommodates my dietary preferences. Wines were excellent and warm service made it all together a memorable experience.

Really enjoyed my time at Sorrel, all the dishes were really well executed and service was top notch. Reminds me of my chefs table experience in New York! Got the tasting menu and I feel like you can’t go wrong with that.
Will definitely come back to try their other items on the menu.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere at Sorrel 💚
It wasn’t overly busy, which created a wonderful sense of privacy and calm. The service was attentive and thoughtful — the waitstaff genuinely cared about our experience and were always ready whenever we needed anything, without being intrusive.

The flavors were beautifully executed. In particular, the truffle cockerel pasta stood out — rich, balanced, and memorable.

That said, I do hope the restaurant continues to refine certain aspects. The desserts felt underwhelming for a Michelin-level restaurant — during our visit, there were only two ice cream–based options, which came across as a bit too simple and uninspired for this caliber.

🍷The wine list could also benefit from further development, especially with more vintage selections. We ordered a 2017 Pinot Noir and absolutely loved it, but I found it surprising that the sommelier didn’t suggest older vintages, especially after I mentioned that I prefer more mature wines.

It’s great that Sorrel offers wine pairing, and my recommendation would be to allow more customization based on guest preferences — that would elevate the experience even further.

Overall, we had no negative impressions, and the evening was genuinely enjoyable. I truly hope the restaurant continues to evolve and fine-tune these details, as the foundation is already very strong.

Thank you 💕

Having lived in Europe & UK & passionate about going Michelin star restaurants, I was super excited to take my wife for our anniversary. Eating at this place left me baffled as to why it has a Michelin star
For me - service and atmosphere was impeccable , but the food did not deliver to my expectations and the vegetarian food for my wife seemed like a complete after thought, either over seasoned or under seasoned. For what we paid, we were expecting to be blown away. For this price you would expect the ingredients such as fresh truffle shavings add on for 45 dollars per person , to add fragrance and taste to the dish , absolutely failed to do either
To conclude
This is a good restaurant for service and ambience if that’s your thing , my thing is the food needs to match the over blown pricing you pay for …

Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, the food was delicious, especially the non-alcoholic drinks pairing. But the next day we woke up and our mouths were very dry as if we ate too much salty food. So maybe tune down the salt a bit.

Front of house Service really takes this place to the next level. Staff cycles through the dining room so well and your table is never ignored.

Did the 5-course with add ons, unreal experience. Food was so well made and a fun mix of unique items and classic flavors. Can’t wait to find another excuse to visit.

Such a wonderful dining experience at Sorrel! We had the 5-course menu and it was exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. The wine pairing was spot-on and the service attentive and friendly. Great spot for a date night!

We went to Sorrel, to celebrate my husband’s birthday and a close friend’s recent engagement. All four of us are vegetarian, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing Michelin-star experiences I’ve had (and I’ve been to many one-, two-, and three-star restaurants).

The vegetarian tasting menu was very underwhelming, the courses felt like random ingredients put together rather than thoughtfully designed dishes. Flavors were missing, the portions were extremely small, and overall it didn’t feel special or satisfying. For a Michelin-star restaurant, I expected creativity, depth, and balance, but it just wasn’t there.

What made the evening even more awkward was the way the “celebration treat” was handled. At the end, the staff brought out a small chocolate/dessert for three of the guests, leaving me (one of the people hosting the celebration) without one. At other Michelin restaurants, they usually extend the celebratory gesture to the whole table so everyone can share in the experience. Here, it felt strangely incomplete and a little thoughtless, which left everyone uncomfortable.

I truly appreciate the effort that goes into fine dining, but this experience fell far below the standard of other Michelin-star restaurants we’ve visited. For vegetarians especially, I would not recommend Sorrel, there are many other places that offer a more creative, flavorful, and inclusive tasting menu like Bird Song, Californios, Merchant Roots, Lazy Bear, Anamoly.

A superb fine dining experience. Had the privilege of enjoying the summer tasting menu. The staff was on point throughout service. The kitchen staff worked like a military unit. Everything was prepared and presented with care and class. Especially loved the focus on ingredients over flash, no over the top garnishes like gold flake or out of place caviar for the sake of a price hike. Just quality cuisine prepared with passion.
