Not very vegan friendly: they’ll up charge you for the vegan meat replacement but won’t give you a discount for having the cheese and yogurt removed! Big bummer to have half the ingredients removed and still pay $2 extra

Nice honest Greek food in a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and an open kitchen. Music is kind of loud, light is good and pale during the day.

Great lil spot, came for the baklava fro-yo and it did not disappoint y'all. Absolutely guilt-free dessert, going to be dreaming about it!

The lamb pita was super dry and chewy. It was hard as a rock. The pita itself tasted off and like it was proofed within a pan that wasn’t completely washed of the soap used to clean it. There are a severe amount of baked goods establishments like bakeries that have this problem. Ugh.I don’t think most people notice as they’re not eating the pita bits alone at first and the sauce masks everything. It came out within 3 minutes of ordering and wasn’t warm at all. There was very little dressing, or cheese etc. The lamb meat is also tough and chewy. I’m shocked at the high ratings. It’s extremely lack luster and costs way too much for the poor quality.

The food is pretty average (I usually get the lamb wrap and it feels pretty healthy, but sometimes a bit dry)... but that baklava froyo is to-die for. It's fast Mediterranean, so you order at the counter and get your food quick -- but there's also only a few options on the menu. I've been to multiple Souvla locations (Mission, Hayes, Marina) and the quality has been pretty consistent across shops. The inside atmosphere is nice -- clean tables, self-serve water, usually not super packed and easy to find a seat. All in all a good casual spot when you're looking to grab something quick either alone or with friends

I should have known better ordering a gyro from a place unfamiliar with the word. This is a fast food chain with bland and flat flavors masquerading as a restaurant. They don't even give you napkins or a bag if you order takeout. The whole vibe of the place is a corporate designed lunch spot that seems more in place in the 2016 financial district than in the 2024 mission.

Chicken wrap was not good - chicken was quite undercooked and very gamey (like it wasn't fresh). Found bone fragments in it. Had to throw out after a few bites.

I think I just had the best salad of my life. I scarfed the whole chicken salad bc it was that amazing... and I am a person that does not like salads as entrees...they will forever be side dishes to me, but this salad, I'm coming back for as, yes, an entree.

Such a lovely little place. Great food and such friendly and genuine staff. Will definitely revisit next time I’m in the city.
