Thai food is sometimes a hit or miss, in the Bay Area. Thankfully Sowl Bowls brings true authenticity to the flavor palette of Thai cuisine. The dishes are a blend of home cooking with modern finishes! The staff and service is amazing and you can tell they put their customers first! The interior is super warm and cozy, perfect for date night or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!

Ordered a fried chicken bowl via doordash. The delivery from this place was super fast and the bowl that I got was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was moist and quite tasty. Will definitely order again!

This experience is based on trying the food at the Farmers Market stand. I got the Drunken MaMa noodles which were decent- the flavor was good but was disappointed in the instant ramen style noodles that were used. The real issue happened before I even got my food. I ordered and the worker overcharged me $22 when she told me my total was $16. I asked about this and the worker then worked to refund this transaction. They once again rang me up and asked me to scan my card. This time I asked them to turn the screen to me before I scanned my card (which is customary). They ignored my request the first time so I asked again and said "can you turn the screen so I can make sure the price is right?" This is when the worker then made several more adjustments on the screen before finally turning it around to show me the now accurate price of $16 and change. Overall the checkout situation left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. The first time felt like it could be an honest mistake, but the hesitation the second time made me feel uncomfortable and like it was intentional.

Great food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. The food can't get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.

Spicy wontons is my favorite! It's the best spicy wontons I've ever had! I also ordered N Goi Tod and Hat Yai Fried chicken. Everything is so flavorful and fresh! Be back again for sure!

This review is for their farmers' market stand. I have not been to their restaurant yet. Want something delicious to eat on a cloudy morning in the Richmond? Sowl Bowls has a stand at Clement Street Farmers' Market on Sundays. You can get the Sowl Bowls' Rito; Titan Gyoza; and/or the Spicy Wontons. All really delicious! And friendly service. My favorite is the wontons and I like it with their potstickers sauce. Yummm. Xx

Discovered this gem when we rode our bikes from Santa Rosa to Larkspur. The Farmer's Market was on and we decided to try the Sowlbowl Rito. Basically a burrito with a seaweed wrap, rice, spring mix, marinated pork, and tortilla chips. Perfectly spicy and delicious. Best post-ride food ever! Definitely will be back for more.

So good and the walk there from my house is very colorful. Simple menu that doesn't require a ton of brain power to pick from which I appreciate. I ordered online but it would probably be quick to just go in and order in person. Solid lunch option but be warned if you tip it will run you close to $16, I guess that's just how it is in SF these days.

Covid has hit this part of town hard man. I really wanted this one to be bomb. The reviews are so good. My bowl was ok. I got garlic fried rice as a base, and marinated pork as protein. Best part was honestly all the veg. Spring mix was hella fresh, the broccoli was cooked perfect, still crisp. There were also some yummy sweet potato chunks. But the pork was chewy and had lots of fat. The rice tasted sad. Didn't taste fresh. And the sauce was ok. I just expected a bigger flavor zing I guess. Again, maybe this was just an off day. My coworkers have all raved about this place. I'm going to give them another shot and come back for the sticky rice sandwich.

So delicious, I will be going back very soon. We ordered the bowl with pork and 'rito with chicken and ate the plates clean! They offered to give us both tamarind and cilantro sauces for the bowl when we couldn't choose - so awesome! Turns out, we prefer the cilantro sauce for it's bright herby flavor.

I probably should have gone with a vegetarian option. I got the grilled chicken bowl. A lot of chicken but not quality. The veggies were fresh but the meat was not and my whole ex prince did not give me the refreshing taste of Thai food. This tasted more like a low quality Chinese food too salty and old and bad fatty pieces of chicken. I only fished the veggies and had a couple of pieces of the meat and that was it. Defintely not worth $17 bucks. The only reason

Amazing bowls. Don't let the location fool you, this place is worth coming to. The food is fresh, clean and flavorful. The staff was extremely nice and brought us waters without ask. Great lunch spot, GO!
