The service was good and the food was delicious. My friend and I shared a cesar salad and another entree. The restaurant was very clean and well lit. The reason I gave a four star review is because I was charged for splitting dishes and then charging us when we didn't ask them to. What we did say was we are going to share our dishes and the server assumed we wanted them to split the dishes for us and did not mention there will be a fee. So, be warned if you want to share any dishes at this restaurant there is a fee of $1 per dish for them to put each item on two separate plates for you and chances are they will not mention the fee, and it will just magically appear on your bill. Other than the split fee hiccup, we did enjoy our meal.

Hubs and I were out for a late dinner and we were craving Italian, so we decided on Spiazzo. It's been a while since we last visited. We started with the bread that is served with a pesto sauce ($1.75 for the bread service). It was ok, although I'd probably skip it next time. I ordered the gnocchi with oxtail ragout. I liked the texture of the gnocchi and the sauce was flavorful. Hubs ordered the spaghetti cacio e pepe - creamy and the goat cheese was subtle. Lots of spaghetti, so it was quite filling. I wanted the tiramisu and hubs went with the chocolate pot de creme. The tiramisu portion was generous and so good. I'd return just for that and coffee. The chocolate pot de creme is a treat for lovers of chocolate mousse.

I went here with my friend around 8. The waitress didn't seem too friendly but the food was good and filling. Even the bread and pesto sauce they gave us before our meal was amazing. This place seems authentic and people seemed to like it a lot.

I call to place a takeout order was placed on internal hold. Call back 20 times and got the answering machine proceeded to the website to try to place the order and I am unable to do so this is absolutely ridiculous and his staff is going to answer the phone, they should have a little more respect than to place the people that keep them employed on hold forever, and then not answer the phone.

Came for a relaxing dinner with a friend. Such a cute space. Clean, friendly and the food was delicious. I had a fresh pizza and it was amazing. Love that a local restaurant is offering good food and great service.

Came here on a Friday night when the new restaurant Elena's had over a 3 hour wait. Other people probably had the same idea because Spiazzo was also packed! Solid option for Italian food. It's cozy and warm and feels like family. The free bread is good, as was the fried calamari and pasta dishes we had. They also have a fairly extensive wine menu. Service is nice and communicative.

Yum!! Would highly recommend, the staff is great and the food was delicious. My husband and I loved the bread and appreciated they told us that it wasnt free. We got the minestrone and chicken dumpling soup + pizza + risotto and the serving of the risotto was huge!

The service was good but the food was not great. First the salmon was undercooked so we returned it to the kitchen but we ended up sick from dinner afterwards. Unfortunately we won't be back.

The service was great and I loved that he knew the menu up and down and was able to help us make a decision based on asking us questions. The food was just as good as the service. My mom had the salmon in a lemon sauce and she said that it was the best salmon she had ever had. I had the flank steak and it was cooked perfectly. The veggies are flavorful and not over cooked, and the mashed potatoes were fluffy and flavorful.I hadn't been here since before COVID and I forgot how good Spiazzo is. You can't beat this place even at a much higher price point.

We dine here frequently and the food is always good but their service was off last night. We got seated for a 6:30 reservation within 5 minutes, but did not see a waitress until 7pm. They said they were down one waitress but she wasn't even in the dining room (was she helping cook in back?). The sweet hostess actually took our order and we asked for comped glasses of wine, which she obliged). The food was good (seafood ravioli, Ceasar salad, and prawn/scallop special). The bus boy at least gave us water during the 30 minute wait.

We came here for lunch two months ago. I ordered wild boar rigatoni, as that is one of my favorite Italian dishes. It must have been a tough day for the chef because my pasta came out rubbery, not soft, and the sauce was bland with very little meat. It made me wonder if this pasta was made fresh. Also, the bread served in the basket was stale and hard, as if it were days-old leftovers from the dinner service the night before. The only plus was the wine selection. The service was good, though, so I added a Star for the service. I see that other reviewers praised the restaurant's dinnertime food. Perhaps the dinnertime chef is different than the lunchtime chef? One person from my party enjoyed his food and has since returned several times. But for me, I will not voluntarily return to this restaurant.

Just had Valentine's lunch with my husband. We started with fried calamari. That, with the bread, was already very filling. I ordered my favorite spaghetti alla vongole again, but this time with the standard tomato sauce instead of a white wine sauce. Both are so delicious! I love that the tomato sauce isn't sour. The clams are huge too! My husband had the spaghetti bolognese which he also really liked. Our waiter, Johnny, was super friendly as always! Can't wait to have the rest of our pasta as leftovers. Try this place for their delicious food and great service.

We had reservations and were even seated early. But the time we sat and the time we were actually served our meal was like 90 min.. way understaffed and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Lots of people in line waiting . Don't think they were prepared for so many People , but the hostess did say there were 3 pages of reservations!! So they had to know!! We saw other people who came after us get served and finished!! Our waitress was nice and apologetic but frantic and working as fast as she could..food was good and we do like the restaurant but they just plan well on staff for Valentine's Day...
