The best best best Chinese restaurant in the city. They made the best blend of Sichuan and Hunan. It's spicy (like really) and numbing at the same time. I go to a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one is hands down the best. Move aside Z&Y.

Waited 10 minutes to get a menu, the server finally walks up to my table and doesn't say a word. We ask for menus and then wait another 10 minutes for food and drinks. Potato dish was sour and I got sick from it. Boxes lining the place, menu items were out of stock but not removed from menu... avoid this place.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while. Got the deep fried fish fillet with explosive chili, and while the flavor was good, I was incredibly disappointed by how little fish there was in every piece, and how heavily breaded it was. I ended up throwing the meal in the trash after picking apart multiple pieces looking for actual fish that I could bite into, and finding most pieces were 75% breading.

Food is packed full of flavor, good portion, and nice staff. They have a large selection of dishes, both meat and vegetable options. I often suggest this place when there are vegetarians in the group.

Go to this Chinese place for clean, well-prepared, and delicious food. Their green bean and eggplant dishes are excellent, and of course, the dry pot is great as well.

Standard Sichuan Fare - with a higher than average spice index. The added attraction for a family or a group of 3 or 4 visiting are the “small pots” (mini-hot pot). They have wider than usual pork specialties including intestines - not commonly found in regular Chinese restaurants and a large array of seafood. Recommended if you are looking for a change from the run-of-the mill San Francisco Chinese.

Their iron pot is one of my favorite comfort foods in the city. It's perfect for when I want to feel full of warmth and joy while craving something spicy and flavorful. The portion size of the vegetarian small iron pot ($30.99) is generous and can easily be shared between 2-3 people, or enjoyed solo and split into multiple meals! Pairs well with rice.

the explosive spicy chicken (there is a tofu and fish version too) is sooo amazing. So are the veggies that are sauteed with garlic. This is my 3rd time coming here this month and it’s always a great experience — friendly staff too. Bring a friend because the portions are large.
