Such a cute spot in Castro! Stopped in for the logo and loved the drinks so much we came back again before we left SF. Lots of different roasts / origins, including one my friend said is hard to find! The dirty chai was honestly one of the best I've ever had and staff was kind both times. Great spot!

I may be biased (very), but if you want to know what a café centered around a community is like, this is it. Seeing Spike’s makes me crave a chai and a sweet potato bread.

While visiting a friend in San Francisco my wife and I got a coffee at Spikes two separate times.We had Americanos and pastries each time. The coffee drinks were really good, the pastries were very fresh and delicious.The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Deceiving dog themed but the only coffee place in the Castro that makes you tie your pup up on the street if you want a coffee.

Wonderful coffee in an awesome spot. Was already planning on going and it happened to be open when I was in the area on Thanksgiving day. Great atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating.
