Got lunch on a Saturday at this fusion brunch place near the boundary of Chinatown and Little Italy in SF. It was not crowded, which I appreciated. Was able to try the Boc Luc Lac, which was cubed beef tenderloin with sauce, and came with an egg, salad, and garlic bread, as well as the Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffles. The beef in the Boc Luc Lac was very soft and tender, with none of the toughness or rubberiness associated with beef. It was very tasty too, and the garlic bread and fried potatoes that came with it was very tasty. As for the Fried Chicken and Pandan Waffle, the waffle itself was surprisingly light and crispy, and the chicken was delicious, no complaints. Overall the food was very good and solid, and I'd like to go here again to try the other items. 4.5 out of 5.

A unique brunch spot. I had the pandan waffle and fried chicken which was tasty. The waffle was cold and a wee bit soggy but good flavour. Someone else had the bo luc lac and the beef was super duper tender and juicy but also very sweet. The shrimp Benedict was quite good and the chicken sammie was good but the star of that was the French fries they were spectacular. The service was friendly and good. There's no atmosphere but still a place I'll go back to.

Insider tip! The food was fantastic - American-Asian fusion cuisine for breakfast: Pandan waffle, French toast with Thai tea sauce and Tom Yum omelet. The Vietnamese coffee tasted unique. Top!

Delicious creative food. Pleasant, fast service. All at a surprisingly affordable price. So I had extra summer rolls with my brunch because it didn't break the bank! Parking was easy at the MTA North Beach garage a block away. I had a reservation but I think I could have been seated without one, too.
Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian steak brunch and it was tasty!

We loved their unique take on Western Breakfast/Asian fusion! I had the Chicken & Pandan Waffles – the chicken was super crispy, flavorful, and juicy, and the waffle was light & fluffy. Hubby loved his spicy Steak Eggs Benedict. Very attentive service, and a great clean & inviting atmosphere. Decent prices and good value. We would visit again & recommend to our friends.

Great Asian fusion brunch spot! Thai tea French toasts are ok, wish the sauce was thicker. The veggie chow mein are on the sweet side but love the fish tofu and shiitake. Also like how it’s not too oily!
Great addition to the neighborhood. Love that all the dishes come with veggies, it’s nice to have a place to eat that isn’t just greasy food in north beach :)

Great vibe and food, but still pricey for what it is. Minimum is $20 per person to eat anything.
