It’s hard to find good pizza. I also rely on other reviews to assist with understanding what the business has to offer.
I was pleasantly surprised on how good this pizza is. They present a Detroit style pizza and it resembles quite well. I ordered the Regular Square Pizza. The crisp on the outside crust is perfect. Not too doughy. The cheese was heavy but that was ok. Sauce wasn’t bland and slightly sweet to my liking. The added basil leaves is great too. It did take awhile to get my pizza but it was super busy inside so that’s understandable. The pizza was freshly hot, tasted fresh, and was very filling.
The root beer was good but not great. So that’s not a hit on them since it isn’t theirs and a different company.
There is an entrance door and an exit. Once you enter, there’s a self service kiosk you can order from and it super easy to use. There’s also a large menu on the wall incase you want to see what they offer instead of looking at the screen first or while waiting to use the screen. One thing I noticed while sitting at my table, there was a QR code to order at the specific spot you were sitting, so there’s that. Employees there brought you silverware, plates and napkins, and your drink before you receive your pizza. They will bring out your pizza for you.
The 4 stars is for the price of the pizza. I feel it was overpriced for what it is. Not saying I won’t get it again but I can get a whole large pie elsewhere for the same price.
Also, it seems to get crowded inside. I went around 6 PM on a Friday. Considering it is close to Ghirardelli Square, it will attract more people. So, consider your party size if you want to dine in. I was solo and sat at the counter facing the window to the street. It’s also very tight inside as far as getting around.
Either way, this place is great. Don’t overlook it.

The pizza is delicious. I had tried it before as takeout to eat at home, but it’s definitely better to eat it there — the flavor is amazing. About one square slice of any pizza is enough for one person.

Ordered take out through their app. It’s super helpful even provides a status of order and when to leave for pick up. Friendly staff and space (Gharidelli) is large to accommodate any group size. Pizza is delicious, one of our favorites if you like deep dish.

Today we had the worst pizzas of our life here. We been at this restaurant several times before and liked it. But today the pizza felt dried out, old and burnt, like something you left in the oven overnight and forgot about it. Quality control needed! Service was attentive. Not going back.

That's some good pizza! Lots of choices and the slices are thick so I was stuffed after two slices. Service was really good, too. It's a bit pricey, so it's not someplace I'd take my family all the time, but I'd definitely return.

The manager at the Campbell location was horrendous. We received a promo code and decided to give this place a try. When we went into the store, they managed a refused to honor the promo code sitting that they could only be used online. It was clearly pinched that the promo code was applicable, either in store or online and could be used in the Campbell location. He refused to budge so we canceled our order. We ended up going to the Garrett station and ordering our pizzas. It was not that we cannot afford the pizza. But it was the principle of the matter. If you send someone a promo code, you need to honor it.

They make a good pie here if you’re looking for fast food pizza. It’s really expensive and the pies are small, so if you have a large appetite expect to spend $40 before tax, tip and sf mandate to get full.
Probably more of a tourist trap than a place for locals based on location and pricing.

They have a great lunch deal here with their half-pie menu! It was quiet in the early afternoon so we could sit and relax and talk. They let us refill our water bottle, too. 🥰

Great Detroit style pizza and this is coming from a guy who grew up in Detroit! Cool and trendy atmosphere. Nice crispy crust with lots of cheese and fresh, quality ingredients. It's just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf.
