In Latin America, coffee farms are often run by families, with their own homes on the same land where their coffee grows. We've sipped coffee with these farmers for decades, sitting on their verandas, overlooking the lush beauty of the coffee trees rolling out in the distance. Most times it was a lightly roasted coffee like this one. It took us more than 80 tries to get it right-mellow and flavorful with a nice softness.

Opens at 4:30am M-F, and it's close to the transit station for buses & trains. It doesn't host a restroom early in the morning and the inside dining area is small or considered tight for a such a busy area.

The staff is super friendly, willing to answer my questions and were all encouraging. For my birthday drink I wanted something creative but I just didn’t know how to make it special.

Bridgette was particularly helpful helping me navigate my options. I thought I wanted a hot drip coffee with 3 cubes of ice… I didn’t want the ice to get all small. I also didn’t want it to be bitter at all, but I’ve been afraid of sugar intake because of social media....
