I understand that this is San Francisco and I’m sure that they experience crazy people coming in often however, a generalization of all people should not be made. It doesn’t matter what you look like you should be treated with respect and quality customer service. It was pouring rain outside and I was getting ready to go to work and I forgot my umbrella so I was drenched in water, but I was dressed pretty nicely and when I came in, they were looking at me like I was a psycho. I ordered a hot cocoa and nobody said thank you or have a nice day. My bag was a paper bag and it broke and I asked if I could get a big bag from them. They said it would be $.25 And I gave them a dollar and I stood there and waited. The girl at the register was so rude and so mean she was black, but she was also a racist because I’m black and I was treated really badly by her and treated like I was a criminal. She wouldn’t even hand me the bag until I handed her the dollar although I just paid for a six dollar hot cocoa Minutes before! This is horrible and mean Behavior. As I stood there, I had to get going because I just needed to replace my things in the bag and get to work. I stood there for a few seconds and I just said keep the change and they continued to ignore me. Nobody said thank you nobody said anything to me and I just gave them extra money when they didn’t deserve it. . Horrible mean rude, psychotic dismissive people work here! I’ve never been treated like this in my entire life! I will not be returning. This is the worst Starbucks ever you should all be as ashamed of yourselves.

I kmow that its a stuggle working in cafes, especially in downtown SF, so being able to come into a Starbucks where workers are friendly and kind is a plus. NEVER had a bad experience at this starbucks and I want to say THANK you to the workers! I know your job is tough

As a total Starbucks junkie, I visit Starbucks almost every day—sometimes even multiple times a day. Being new to the area, this Financial District location is right up the street from me, and let me just say… WOW.
By far, this is the most welcoming and genuinely kind Starbucks crew I have ever encountered. Everyone is so friendly, and the energy they give off immediately puts a smile on my face. It’s the kind of place where you feel recognized and appreciated the moment you walk in.
You can tell this team works hard, even during busy rushes, and they do it with great attitudes and positive vibes. That combination of efficiency, warmth, and consistency is something you don’t see enough these days.
This location has quickly become part of my daily routine, and I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived. Amazing crew, great energy, and a Starbucks experience done right. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re nearby.

My experience at this Starbucks location is amazing! All the employees greet me with a smile, and a warm welcome, especially Dia and Georgie. The 2 employees that greet me with a very warm smile, thoughtful small talk, and a great experience every time I come in and order my drink/food. Both employees 1000000000% deserve a raise, and employees of the month due to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to making sure their customers are well taken care of and feel welcomed at Starbucks.

On 7/26/25 @ 11:15 my partner placed an order at this location since we live in the vicinity, except this day it was raining with two drinks I asked for a bag from Dijay who was working at the time and to my surprise she says they cost 25cents, first I’ve heard since we always place orders at this Starbucks and they’d always give us a bag when requested no questions asked. When confronting the Nathan the manager about this he said Starbucks policy requires staff to say this and it is upon their discretion to give it for free, especially if we make a scene they would give it for free sounds pretty ridiculous to make a scene for a free bag. Mind you this was his exact words. “Make a fuss we’ll give you the bag”
