I was there back in 2022. It was early in the morning, everything was closed. My phone almost dead, no maps no nothing in that city, I stumbled upon this Starbucks on King st. And I had a pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest souls ever. I do not remember the name of the barista, unfortunately. I was genuinely amazed by their vibes and just had this sudden urge to give them a compliment, and I did. And I thought nothing much of it. But then when I took my card out to pay for the hot chocolate they said “It’s on me”. I did not expect it, and It was one of the sweetest memory of that whole trip. They were the first person i interacted with in San Francisco, and it definitely gave a great start to the trip. Whoever you were, I want you to know that I remember you, and I told every single one of my friends about how kind you were to me. Thank you for the sweet memory.

Rewards QR scan not accepted here. Charge extra for Ice water along with order. Ask for 3 scoops of dragonfruit, charged but didn’t add.

This is one of the better Starbucks I've been into. They are aware of the patrons even after they order. Thank you to the staff for making it enjoyable.

This Safeway Starbucks never comes out as well as a regular Starbucks that isn't contracted out

Trying to fill in for full store that shut down nearby. Baristas need training/retraining primarily on preparing drinks—nothing tastes right or better—than full size store. Also need retraining on customer service. Will Starbucks relocate our old baristas to this stand pls?

The beverage tasted as expected however, this Starbucks is inside Safeway 4th and King Street and has no atmosphere other than the Safeway bakery. Additionally, the Barista was maybe having a bad day as the customer service was below expectation, in fact, it felt as if the Barista was angry that I ordered a beverage, lots of deep breathing, eye rolling, and dismissive body language. I felt upset at myself for being so polite and thankful as I walked away feeling uncomfortable.Pro Tip: if you download the Safeway app they almost always have a coupon for $2 any Grande Starbucks beverage!

Parking: Be sure to bring your parking ticket into Safeway to have it validated so as you can park for free.

This is a standalone Starbucks 2 doors down from Safeway (280 King St), not the one in Safeway (298 King St).

It's Starbucks. It's pretty consistent.

Good things- lots of room, outdoor seating. Bad- super slow and the staff is not always the friendliest.
