My now favorite sports and nonsports Tavern in the Richmond. Atmosphere was just the right balance of enthusiasm and still being able to talk and hear a conversation. Beers are great! And I'm a huge sausage fan, and they hit all the marks. But the biggest surprise was the Sauerkraut. This is exactly how my Polish mother cooked it with apples and caraway! Wow!

Solid neighborhood bar with a good German beer selection. Pieces are reasonable too.

Took an hour for our food to come out from when we came in. We came in around 5:30pm on a Sunday and thought things would be fine because there was hardly anyone there when we seated ourselves. We have two toddlers and our kids started melting down because they were so hungry. We eventually packed up and left without even eating because it was taking so long. We got our food to go. It was 6:30pm when we left with our food in the to go bag. The staff seemed like a nice guy but he and the guy in the kitchen there working were way too chill. There's no reason it should take an hour for wienerschnitzel and a bratwurst and some fries and a salad to come out when there the place isn't even a quarter full. When we finally ate the food at home it was tasty though the wienerschnitzel was a bit overdone.Would not come here again with kids though without kids if you're not on a short timeline it might be ok.

Some really good service and tasty offerings.I liked the 'parklet' in the covid days. But inside works also. I'm so happy they know and recognize my dear friend. Happy Birthday Shpeilky Geneckotagazoink!!

Delish rye sauerkraut with the brats dish. Great food and welcoming service, frequented by jovial locals to chat up at the long bar with lots of seating and open space around.

Couldn't be happier w/ my swim team's holiday happy hour we just hosted there. Siofra, managed the hectic evening with a lovely smile and we had a fantastic, delicious time! Highly recommend this neighborhood spot.

This place is great for their German food and beer selections. The Weinershnitzel dinner is the best. Comes with fries and salad. The service is personable and curtious and sometimes speedy. We have tried their various specials of the day and they have been very good economically and taste wise. It is a sports bar but you can't hold that against them, so it can be a bit noisy/loud. Otherwise this is a be back again and again.

Great bar stop for those casual get togethers or date night rendezvous - tasty food, friendly service, and a wide selection of drinks. It's one of those places where it's so easy to lose track of time because of how comfortable you feel there - will definitely be coming back!

Great down to earth tavern with authentic German foods and great, if less known beers brewed mainly in Germany. Very friendly, it reminded me of bars and restaurants in the Midwest where I grew up. What a great surprise to discover!
