loved their matcha! probably one of the best in the city. the thick an creamy texture makes you want to come back. the food are okay. i tried the katsu curry and my friend tried their chicken porridge - they taste decent but came in great portion. my favorite is their regular iced matcha and strawberry matcha latte 🍵

Impressed by the matcha drinks! So rich and flavorful even though I ordered non-sweetened. Not so much by the food. The desserts are too heavy for me.

The place closes at 4pm. They had stopped allowing dine-in when we arrived at 3:30. There are a couple of tables outside for take-outs, but they collect them at 4.

Stonemill Matcha is a gem of a lunch place in the Mission, with delicate Japanese entrees, often matcha themed. Their matchzuke with rice, steamed salmon and a match broth deserves a Michelin star! Their sparkling matcha with yuzu is also excellent as are the pastries. They are also very quick in their service.
