This is a taqueria and the name says it all. It’s counter service and simple but the food is fresh and seriously delicious. It’s my favorite in the city next La Taqueria. Staff is awesome. Was visiting from Chicago and we seen this taco place just walking by. Being Chicano I had to give them a try and compare to what we have here in Chicago. Let me tell you it blew us away in flavor. The rice, burrito, tacos, the salsas, along with the homemade tortillas were all very GOOD. I highly recommend Street Taco. Its definitely way better than 90% of these taco places in Chicago.
My friend and I ordered burritos and it was amazing. We waited for around 5 minutes before the food is served. It tends to get crowded so tables are limiting factor if you would preferred to dine in. I ordered carnitas super burrito and it was great. The carnitas was crunchy with great flavor. One of the best carnitas burritos I've ever had. Would definitely be back whenever I am back to the neighborhood.
