What a disappointing experience.
We went to the bar because their signage said they served “spooky drinks” for the Halloween season. The venue had no AC and was filled with cheap inflatable yard blow-up decorations for a sweltering Party City vibe.
When we entered no one greeted us, and we sat at a table for a while before going up to the bar to order since we eventually figured out no one would serve us without being at the counter. The bartender said they didn’t have spooky drinks despite their advertisements, so we asked what the house cocktails were. She said she didn’t have those either. I asked for a Blue Hawaiian, but they don’t have curaçao either. At that point I asked her to make me something sweet and tropical so she’d have more leeway in being able to make something, since there seemed to only be roadblocks with trying to get a drink made.
Despite asking for something sweet, the drink was both bitter and tart, since she had oddly added bitters to it. Each member of our three-person party had a drink that was made either wrong (for two of them - a dark and story, then a Moscow mule), or tasted bad (all three).
When it came time to close the tabs the bartender gave one of my companions the wrong card. She didn’t seem to care about the patron’s experiences or be concerned they were advertising things they didn’t have. All three of us agreed we wouldn’t return.

This lounge is a cocktail GEM! We walked in early afternoon and the bartender made perfectly-crafted, magical drinks (I didn't catch her name). We popped in again later that night, and although the cocktails weren't as perfectly curated by the other bartenders, the drinks were strong and the vibes were on-point. I can't wait to go back next time we visit!

The Summer Place is all big-hearted generosity and kindness for me. My favorite person there is Jin (pronounced gee?). Jin immediately greeted every person who stepped up to the bar. She has an amazing smile. She kindly picked a card from my tarot deck and let ke explain it's meaning. Best of all, she customized my cocktail to suit my character. am in love with this place. Good beer, good wine, good liquor and lots of special attention.

I wanted somewhere to have drink and read my book near the hotel. What I found was one of THE best bars in America. Exceptional service. Truly personal. The drinks were so special (spicy margaritas for everyone). The other clientele were delightful. I’d go there again tomorrow in a heart beat. Also excellent value. Thank you!x

This place is popular with the locals and always has a great vibe/clientele. Rachel and Tony behind the bar are the best! No food, just bar and great music!
One word for this bar: incredible. We were in a hotel right next to the bar and stopped by all three evenings. Super friendly bartenders who know how to mix good cocktails. The bar is very busy, very clean, and has cool music. We are sad that we left today and can no longer order our Negroni. Thank you again for your hospitality and all the best for the future. One of the best bars in town. I often start my pubcrawl here, and the atmosphere is always chill and cool. The bartenders are always very attentive and helpful, and the beer is always cold and good :)

i’ve been here several times and today was the first time i had such a negative interaction — and of all people — with the owner.
i asked the bartender about a bottle that was requested of a person i’d previously been in with. she was unaware of what i was talking about and suggested that i speak with the owner who’d happen to be in at the time. when i’d approached, they were very rude and dismissive. i understood that they also have a personal life but the person who was with them was more than welcome to interact with me… i felt it was very personal in that moment…. don’t think i’ll be returning any time soon.
