Pizza is consistently delicious! Love their Detroit style pepperoni or chorizo pizza!

We went to the Slice Shop for the gluten free deep dish pizza, and the collective wisdom of the Internet delivered once again. Finding gluten free deep dish pizza is very hard, most places just go with the thin crust because it's much easier. But not the Slice Shop! Their gluten free barbecue chicken deep dish square pizza was outstanding! The two of us polished four squares in negative time. The gluten free crust was virtually indistinguishable from regular crust. The toppings were delicious. The two sauces were generous and made this an appropriately messy experience. We'll be back!
Great pizza and nice staff.
I live nearby and go here often. I’ve tried most of the menu and I’m a huge fan. My favorite square pizza is the butter chicken. They do a good job of a flavorful sauce that’s very satisfying with the sourdough. I thought it was a great balance where the sauce is thick enough to mesh with the bread very well.
I almost always get their buffalo wings. They’re very crispy and the sauce is tangy. I like that the wings are fried and not baked at some lower quality pizza spots. Their Italian sandwich is a good lunch pickup also.

A large thin-slice loaded with pepperoni, fast service. Nice crunchy NY style crust.

Their Google Maps listing and social media presence strongly implies they sell salads, but they do not, they only sell pizza and drinks. Also I think it's lame you can only order with the computer systems.
Lastly we did get the pizza a while back and it was only ok.

Was very cute but the tag said $5 a slice and they charged me $7 so put a damper on the experience. Then asked us to move to another seat so we just left. It's pizza tho and open late so...

I was born and raised in Detroit and this place was disappointing. There’s definitely better Detroit style in SF than this, dough was practically raw in the middle. Points for creativity (mapo tofu topping was good) but execution left lots to be desired

I'm from Michigan so I was excited to have a taste of home! The Detroit-style (square) pizza was delicious and flavorful, with really good quality ingredients - I wouldn't say it was familiar, but it was a delicious San Fransisco twist on a classic!

I’ve been getting their pepperoni pizza for over about 2 ½ years now and it is consistent. i am a no crusrt pizza eater, even napolitana, but i eat crusts here because it’s good. sometimes wait can be long but worth it because you know you’re going to get a good slice of pizza.
