Came in to place a to go order and was told TO GO AWAY because they were busy. Restaurant not even full. Only 2 tables inside.

Could’ve just tell me that they’re busy and order will take 30 mins. Instead of just flat out telling me to go away 🤦🏻‍♀️

Been a loyal customers for years because we live close by. I guess they don’t want our business anymore. Good riddance!

Love this place, I keep coming back. They have a standout Beef Chow Fun with generous beef and strong wok hei. I always order the Minced Pork and Mei Cai which I miss from Singapore, and feel is pretty uncommon for Chinese restos in SF. We've also tried many other items - clams with egg, rock cod and tofu claypot, etc - all homey and delicious.

The uncle who runs the place is pretty friendly and charming to EVERYONE too (also uncommon for Chinese restos for non-Chinese speaking diners)!

Platonic ideal of a mom and pop Chinese restaurant, and the waiter was the nicest man ever

Yum! Fast, delicious Chinese food that hits the spot. They also give hefty portions that’ll be great for leftovers. They took our order 10min before closing so we really appreciated that. Thank you!

Frankly, I'm somewhat reluctant to do this review because this place is, in my opinion, a best kept secret. I'm not a food critic, but have had Chinese food all over the US and Malaysia and this place is my favorite. Family has been coming here for twenty years after moving in around the corner. Now in Daly City, but we still come 3-4 times a month. Tasty, decent prices, good helpings, veggies always crunchy. We usually order whatever seasonal vegetable they have in stock (eg sweet potato leaves, bean sprout leaves); hot & sour soup; house fried rice; mixed veggies. My diet is plant based, but I'm not vegetarian, thus, I haven't tried too many meat dishes. However, the Mongolian beef (heavy on onions which I like) and fish with garlic green beans are yummy. No fancy interior; inside can be cold; restroom is a little beat; limited parking (Taraval Line is right outside); but these won't keep me from coming back.

Came here for a loner dinner. I ordered the scrambled egg chow fun. The chow fun was fresh and the egg sauce was perfect. I added red chili oil and the dish was additionally elevated.I couldn’t give this place a five star for atmosphere but def they have great friendly customer service. The waiter came by and checked on me several times. He said this business is opened by a couple for over 20 years and he himself has worked here for over 20 years. Not only that, he asked if I was a neighbor of the area which I am not but it seems like he’s constantly looking for neighbors within the outer sunset area. Really friendly guy. You will know who I’m talking about if you go ever go there.

Had a absolute stunner of a meal for lunch! The quality and flavor were excellent. Besides us, there were only locals, always a great sign. Our server, who I believe was the owner, took care of us like we were family. He was funny and made sure we were happy. We were served a complimentary soup to start that I would assume was the staff lunch, a flavorful light beef broth with veggies and surprisingly beans. Food came out quickly and in appropriate waves. The amount of quality food for the price was by far the best we’ve had in SF this week, not even close. We have dinner and lunch for tomorrow as well with the leftovers. Bravo!

Some of the most delicious Chinese food I've ever had! We were greeted pleasantly, given great recommendations on what to order, and everything was fantastic! We ordered the house specialty chow fun, black pepper sauce ribs, seafood wonton soup, salt and pepper cod, and pot stickers. Everything was delicious! There was enough leftover for dinner in addition to lunch. We'll definitely be coming back soon!
