This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I bet if you tried it you’d love it too. The shakes are also amazing!!

Lots of seating here. We came on a rainy day, but the outside patio is available too. Great food, quick and you can order on the tablets.

It was a big sandwich. I had the chicken one, and I have to say, it was not my favourite in flavour, despite the meat being a big piece and very juicy. But perhaps it was too juicy, the grease was dripping everywhere, and the slaw didn't really work for me. The fries were okay.

The food was just okay. There are better places in the area to get a burger.

I put 5 stars because of the service. I wanted a dipped ice cream but they was unable to dip the cone so they modified the invoice consequently.

Super Duper Burgers is a Bay Area based burger chain that was started in 2009 by Adriano Paganini and Edmundo "Eddie" Sarti. They opened the first location in the Castro in 2010 and have 1/2 dozen locations in The City, and about the same number in surrounding Bay Area locations (East Bay, Marin, South Bay). They serve great tasting burgers with higher quality ingredients, or as they say it, fast food burgers with slow food values. Grass fed beef, ground fresh daily, never frozen, non-GMO ingredients, locally sourced, I.e. shakes from cream made by Strauss Family dairy in western Marin. So local ingredients, high heat cooking technique, and their famous house made pickles, crispy and tasty, and complimentary! All packaging is compostable. Because of this attention to quality, you pay a higher price. In the fast food hierarchy of burgers, you started with McDees because you wanted a happy meal as a kid; you tried BK and Jack for a little variety and late night munchies, you moved to In-n-out because you just wanted burger and fries on a family budget, and you moved to Super Duper because of the taste and quality of their food, and your palate. Or you love pickles. Super Duper grew dramatically during the recent Tech Boom, nearly a new branch every year, where Tech Bros who lived in Hack houses could get a juicy burger and could afford it, or Tech girls who had 3 roommates to afford the rents, wanted a meal away from their bedroom inside their SOMA apt living room and their daily drama queen roomies. DTSF SDB's were packed with Millennials and Gen Z college grads who repeatedly say "Got It" instead of ok or yeah, like they do in warehouse converted offices in their Startups seeking Unicorn market value. This location is near the foot of Mission Street, a block off the Embarcadero waterfront and Market street. Nearby offices with household names like Gap, Visa, Google, etc. It is clean and modern, but not jammed like before Tech Layoffs of the last 2 years. I guess AI burgers from the Metaverse isn't in line with Super Duper's core values and mission statement. Like all SDBs, you can order on a tablet or from a person. My dining friend and I opted for the mini Burgers, which is plenty enough, and we split some Garlic Fries. I added avocado to my Mini. There are a lot of extras you can add, but careful, it can ring up your bill. The burgers and fries were yummy nomnom delish amazing tasty to die for (pick your Instagram hashtag here to describe taste) and just right for our 4pm tweener meal in the February rain. Hopefully all the SDBs (NOT SBD, which may come later tonight) will survive the current downturn in Tech and traffic ( actually, 20 AI startups have sprouted in DTSF in the past year or two! ) so we can eat a full 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks for $50 here, with smiles and yummy in my tummy, and not worry about my maxed out Visa card from buying clothes from Gap brands with my Temp Google gig. At least there are free pickles if you aren't sour enough already.

Solid spot for burgers and fries in Fidi. Shakes and ice cream products are great too because they use Straus milk in their shakes and cones and great quality beef. I can appreciate that their prices are still reasonable and their burgers are juicy and customer service is on point for a fast food establishment. Don't miss out on their pickles which are self service. Chicken sandwich and veggie burgers are nice alternatives if you're looking for something a little lighter. Also, they gotten a little more inventive with their offerings with the ingredients and looping in the bird chicken sandwich as well. Highly recommend. Simple but good.

Despite a lunch hour line stretching out the door, I got a very tasty truffle burger in about ten minutes! Really nicely crispy edges to the patty.

The cleanest Super Duper in the downtown. The fries and burgers are always delicious with a dessert of chocolate soft-serve. Always a win. The staff are friendly and keep the place clean. Would 10/10 recommend.

Always delicious! I got a double double and it made my day. Will be back for another lunch soon. PS try their pickles and ice cream

Pretty good burgers. Just an FYI, the mini burger is your average sized burger and the super duper burger is a double pattied burger. The fries are a good size portion as well. The place was clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly.
