Went here Monday night with my wife and daughter after seeing the sights at the california academy of sciences. i'm a new york chinatown person, grew up in a cantonese household and would go to seafood restaurants to eat foods that we didn't make at home.
This place rocks.
We ordered the crab and fish maw soup. the best that we've had.
we also had clams in black bean sauce which was delicious
the roast duck was served with an amazing duck sauce (perfectly balanced, sweet with spice and acid)
Beef chow fun was delicious
Greens were great.
Place was clean and the bathrooms were awesome

Very very authentic Cantonese restaurant. The owners are very welcoming and introduced a lot of classic and authentic dishes. If you are looking for a good authentic Cantonese restaurant this is the one, and their signature dish for chicken wings is really delicious.

Entirely ordinary Cantonese food except for the chicken wings, which are excellent and delicious - make sure to let your server know you want them as soon as you sit down.

Went for the wings and was not disappointed! The bbq pork fried rice also really stood out to me, you could really taste the smokiness of the pork, delicious! The dry fried spicy chicken wings were perfectly fried, moist, and flavorful. The sesame chicken was also cooked to perfection, next time will try a beef plate or lemon chicken. Definitely want to come back with a bigger group so we can order more dishes!

I don’t write a review unless it is exceptionally good! A restaurant like this is a gem in the city. If you would like to taste the authentic crab.chicken wing and others. You should not miss it! The interior is not crystal shining but it is not important when the food is on the table. The restroom is very clean though. So 5 star. Taste yourself

Older furnishing in the restaurant but very authentic Cantonese food.
Weylen Was the best server. He was so kind and attentive and cared about the food allergy at the table. The Cantonese dinner special is amazing for the price!! 2 people and 5 plates for $41! You can’t beat that!!

Down to earth Chinese food. Try the chow fun and their house sweet and sour chicken.

Guys, this is where the hardworking local folks eat lunch. Huge rice plate for only ~$9-12 (depending on the specific dish). It reminds me of Chinese school cafeteria food. I can eat this everyday!

We had the westlake minced beef soup, salt and pepper pork ribs, cauliflower and pork, broccoli and beef, sweet and sour chicken wings, and a chicken fried rice.Everything was delicious, seasoned well, and not too greasy! We were a group of four adults and there were lots of leftovers.
