Suppenküche Reviews
To support a restaurant that disrespected a person for just doing their job, a job they were INVITED to do by this restaurant, is wild. The owner of Kis Cafe made this person cry, told her she was not good enough to have been invited bc she had a low follower count in his opinion, then basically said he didn't want to work with her bc she was a small creator. Reminder that your restaurants start somewhere, probably small, and now that you have business you don't seem to remember...read full review
Very delicious food!!! It’s been awhile since I lived in Germany but this was a nice reminder of what I’m missing!
A very social restaurant, with excellent food. Great for groups!

Suppenküche is a delightful restaurant that serves traditional German cuisine and is a cherished part of the Hayes Valley community. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the Gemistcher Salat, Pretzel with Obazta, Sauerbraten, and Wienerschnitzel, all of which are cooked to perfection. The Roasted Pork Knuckle is incredibly good, and the portions are enormous, making it a favorite among diners. The Brussel Sprouts are crispy and delicious, and the Potato Pancakes are a must-try. The service is good, with staff that are kind, hard-working, and bring great energy to their work. The owner, Fabi, is known for his kindness and is actively involved in the community, often helping neighbors and cleaning the street. Suppenküche has a lively atmosphere, making it a fun place for going out with a group or enjoying a meal outside with a dog. While it can be a bit loud at times, it remains a great spot to enjoy delicious food and create lasting memories. Overall, Suppenküche is more than just a restaurant; it is the heart and soul of the neighborhood, where everyone feels embraced and welcomed.
