Wow. That's the exact word to describe the entire tasting experience from start to finish. There's not much else to say lol My wife and I are addicted to sushi, especially when it comes to an omakase option. Without giving too much away, the price is incredibly reasonable for the quality and amount that you get. A great bonus is their unique selection of sake (the drink, not the fish) which paired quite nicely with everything we ate. We will definitely be back for another visit!

My wife loved coming here for her Birthday. Very low key Sushi experience with fantastic food and service! We sat the bar and had the chefs Omakase. I think it was a great value for what we received. We got a lot of one-on-one time with Chef Alex which made the experience more fun for us. The flavors of each dish were unique and intricate. The fish was very high quality and the execution of each dish is what you would expect from a high end sushi experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and the staff were very attentive to us. We came on a Saturday night and surprisingly it wasn't packed. Which could be great for those that want an intimate experience, but it could be a turn off for those that want to be in a lively atmosphere. Either way the food and service are what shines here.

Love the omakase. The food is not just fresh/tasty, but VERY creative. Alex is very charming and it’s always fun to interact with him during the meal. Highly recommend the bar experience.

This sushi place is simply outstanding! The food is spectacular! It’s an authentic Japanese sushi, not an American version of sushi. The place is not cheap but it’s worth every dollar! Great place for a special occasion! Highly recommended!

Been to Sushi Hakko about 4 times now and it is by far one of the best sushi experiences I have ever had each time. Punches above its weight class in terms of value. Would recommend for serious sushi lovers.

What an outstanding experience start to finish. We sat at the sushi bar and got to watch the chef in action. Everything was so meticulously prepared. He creates art out of food and explained what went into choosing the fish and creating the dish. The service was wonderful. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Fantastic 19-course omakase with sake and wine pairings. Definitely worth the splurge. The ginger and nigiri sauce were crafted from scratch and aged by Chef Alex and his selection of fish is outstanding. The miso soup and pot de creme for dessert were both outstanding too. Expensive but worth the splurge when you're flush with cash!

I really enjoyed my experience here. The menu items and food quality were good for the price. I also really appreciated the beautiful presentation of each dish. The service was exceptional. The staff were all so nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. The ambiance was great with dim lighting. We came here for an anniversary celebration and the environment and food did not disappoint!

Sushi Hakko was perfect for our anniversary. The whole meal was delightful from the first dish to the last. The staff and service was amazing and really made us feel special. The nigiri was some of the best I've had, literally melts in your mouth. The also had special substitutions for being dairy free. We will definitely be back. I can not recommend this place enough.

What a special experience!! Tip: definitely get the bar seating to have your beautiful morsels of sashimi handed to you directly from Chef-Owner Alex himself. The attention to ingredients and presentation here is one-of-a-kind. Chef Alex selects fish that is at its peak flavor during each season. Since it is winter, we indulged on rich cuts like King Salmon from New Zealand, and Winter Yellowtail. He seasons all of the nigiri rice with aged 4 year vinegar. And he sources his miso from two very specific artisans in Japan. It was hard to pick favorites, when the lineup included multiple cuts of rich fatty tuna, tender scallops, and even a miso-infused panna cotta. But I'd have to say the uni might possibly have been it for me. Incredible, earthy, creamy, and divine in a bite. Pair it with a champagne or sake and you're good to go! Oh yes, and the service was super attentive and kind. I will definitely be returning!

Food - AMAZING!!! Incredible. Got the Omakase with my husband and his parents visiting from Ohio. Chef Alex was so kind and welcoming. He was so thoughtful and made sure my in laws were comfortable even offering some small amounts of Uni ahead of the dish to ensure they liked it. He was kind and funny but always respectful and sincere. His dishes were at times a piece of art and everytime exceptionally delicious. The snow crab soup was unreal, so delicate and pure Nice Ambience, at times I wished it was a touch brighter so that I could better see the food. But I know if I had simply asked they would have turned up the light without any hesitation. Will definitely be going back!!! Makes Nobu look like McDonalds! Jk that place is good, but also- this was beyond amazing!!!!!!
