Ordered the tasting menu Haku (薄). The standout dishes for me were the scallop in sunomono and the yellowtail tataki. The welcome cold soup was also very impressive. However, I found the dessert (yuzu panna cotta) slightly too sour.

We did the Shio tasting menu and it was wonderful. High quality fish and at a very fair price for everything you receive. Service was wonderful, very attentive and informative. Will return!

Sushi Shio is one of the most under-appreciated, high quality sushi spots in SF. Wild to me that more folks don't dine here in person (lots of to-go orders were being fulfilled while I was there). The fish was great quality and very fresh but the preparation was even better. I've enjoyed quite a bit of omakase these past 10 years and it's not often that I end up learning about new preparations which was very exciting! Anyone who says that the other local omakase...
