Ordered chirashi bowl takeout. The portion size is not too big. There are lots of carrots and daikons which i don’t see very often in chirashi. I wouldn’t mind if they are good but the carrots are very salty and inedible. Fish quality is ok but all basic fish and very lean. slices are very thin and again portion is small. Rice tastes good (maybe used Akazu vinegar) but otherwise would not order again. There are a lot other better sushi in the city for the same price.
This place is VERY serious , I rarely review here orders to take out but , simply WOW! So I had Snow crab hand roll, Scallop Handroll and a lobster roll, standing ovation to chef , made me so happy! All the carefully placed pieces flowing flavor was a whole experience, and hey, that wasabi was amazing too! Every detail amazing. kudos.Luv , Gracias!
Ordered the tasting menu Haku (薄). The standout dishes for me were the scallop in sunomono and the yellowtail tataki. The welcome cold soup was also very impressive. However, I found the dessert (yuzu panna cotta) slightly too sour.
