Was headed downtown for a concert and this restaurant was along the way of the Metro so we decided to try it out. The sushi were decent and tasty. The sashimi were sliced thicker than I'm used to but was not an issue. Overall no complaints with the food. If I had to nitpick, the atmosphere felt a bit of a mix bag with European paintings and all-cantonese speaking staff which questions the authenticity of the (Japanese) restaurant. Then again, who am I to judge, we ordered...
Stopped in for lunch had a couple rolls and tried the chicken teriyaki. The fish was very fresh and delicious. The lunch special came with a soup, salad & rice. Large portion of chicken. It was tender and crispy for like 12 bucks can’t beat it. Awesome experience thank you.
Food is tasty and service is wonderful! Staff knows that we love to sit by the fish tank and always greets us with a hot cuppa tea. Sushi is affordable and tastes fresh. Feels like a cozy neighborhood eatery. There’s always families who come in to enjoy the food and atmosphere.
