Food was extremely delicious! The best burger I’ve had in the States, we also ordered the steak which was also great and the eggplant sticks with tomato sauce and these were incredible!! the quality of drinks is amazing too. Unfortunately the seats and tables are a bit small and it can be very noisy if the bar is crowded, but still enjoyable

We had a nice evening. We had the fish and chips and the impossible patty melt. They were both delicious and good portions.
Our server was nice and friendly. Great place to have a drink and a bite to eat.

Got into town late and needed a bite to eat. Saw that Sutter Pub was open until 10:30, according to their website. Got there at 9:30 and was told the kitchen was closing so we'd have to do carry-out. I mentioned their posted hours and we were given a table.
The pub itself is quite comfy and has a good vibe. It has a decent beer list and palatable wine. The food, though, was subpar. I think most of it comes from a Sysco truck, or some other freezer or can. The garden burger is your standard frozen veg burger with no frills, edible but flavorless. The chili tasted like is was straight from the Hormel can, pretty bad. Fries were good.
Sutter Pub seems like a nice local pub for grabbing beer and hanging out, but don't do dinner here.

Find British Pub in the better part of downtown SF.
It's cozy place, big bar, decent seating.
Good collection of beer, local and foreign.
Food is very decent, was not crowded for Thursday evening. We got seated right away.
Parking can be a challenge as it's SF, not a must visit, but definitely yes if you are in the neighborhood!
