Suzu is such a gem in Japantown. Every dish we tried was comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the broths were rich without being heavy, and the toppings were generous and well balanced. The fried chicken was especially standout. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and incredibly satisfying.
I also loved the variety on the menu. Whether you want something warm and soupy, something chilled and refreshing, or a hearty curry, there’s something for every mood. Everything felt thoughtfully composed rather than thrown together.
The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, exactly what you want from a neighborhood noodle spot. Service was friendly and efficient, and the space has charm that makes you want to linger.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving comforting food. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The food was okay overall, and some of the appetizers were good. However, both times I went here and ordered the pork curry dish, I got food poisoning. So, I don’t recommend that dish.

On a weekday at almost 8pm, the other restaurants in jtown were still busy but my friend and I were able to get seated here immediately luckily. The food came out pretty fast once we ordered. They have a variety of Japanese food - soba, udon, ramen, dons, katsu, etc. I got their ramen with fried chicken and pork and the broth was not super heavy which was ideal for me. Their tempura was also done well. I’d come back here for a casual dinner!
Incredibly authentic ramen in a quiet cozy corner of the mall. Have been going here for years.

The portions here for the tsukemen are massive and ingredients taste incredibly fresh. The taste is pretty standard to what I've tried at other restaurants. Interior is casual and on the smaller side. Hope to try other items in the future.

Had a group of 4, we got seated quickly and enjoyed delicious bowls of ramen. Great value and the food was amazing. Friendly server was very accommodating.
I ordered a Shoyu Curry Ramen, it came out hot and was super flavorful but not too overwhelming. Perfect balance of flavors!
Would highly recommend this location.

This place is just okay. I ordered the Miso Ramen (they gave me something else by accident). Food tasted okay. No line. Prices are on the lower end ($15-17/bowl). Wouldn’t recommend it, but maybe okay if you are in a rush and don’t want to wait.

This is one of my go-to spots when I'd visit the city. I like to go when my #1 spot has long wait times.
I like that they have Shio on the menu, although quality has been inconsistent lately. Nonetheless, it's reliable and there's typically no wait compared to Marufuku upstairs.
For whatever reason, during busy times in the mall, this place tends not to have wait, and so that's how we ended up here. We enjoyed the ramen!
