During the event none of the guest wanted for anything; all my guest complimented the food and staff. As I read all of these reviews, I find myself agreeing to all the the things everyone else had to say. How's that for consistency? We used Svetlana Catering for our wedding in July as well. Polina and her team were amazing. Her dishes were so good. We went to a tasting looking for 7 dishes, and ended up getting 10 because they were all delicious. Many of our guests commented on how the food was spot on. Polina answered every question quickly, and had great ideas when we didn't know what to do. It's good to be able to trust someone who's had a lot of experience with events. Everything was organized, beautiful, and did not miss a thing. The team was friendly, helpful, and professional. There was no need to worry about anything. We cannot thank them enough for such a beautiful day.

Polina and her team catered our wedding two weeks ago and they were fantastic. They showed up early, picked up desserts for us, worked with our florist, and most importantly: served incredible food. We weren't sure what we wanted for catering until we visited Polina's spotlessly clean kitchen in Oakland and she fed us a ton of food (and even let us keep the leftovers!). We knew we wanted her food as soon as we tasted it and our guests are continuing to rave about how good it was. We hired Svetlana Catering to do the Yelp holiday party for over 1500 people yesterday in San Francisco. Everything was delicious! The recipes, ingredients and care that go into each element really makes a difference! It was an Apres Ski themed event, and they knocked it out of the park with the menu. Gosh, I don't know where to begin. Svetlana Catering is excellent on a level beyond expectations. Polina is wonderful, so kind and fun and creative - and her food is absolutely delicious. Her range is incredible, too. For our wedding, we worked with Polina to create a perfect menu with everything we could have dreamed, and since my husband is from Germany we had many German elements. Such a fun and lovely way to toast both cultures! We had wonderful tastings to make sure we loved everything we ordered, and they handled the rentals and other details so we didn't have to worry. The day of the wedding everything went beautifully. Our service was over at 1pm so we had catering service from 1:30pm til almost midnight- a long day with many changes! Polina and her amazing staff were attentive to the flow and helped move things along perfectly, so it never felt rushed but also so people never got bored. The food was excellent and I was amazed that the food was perfect temperature, considering we had our 60 person dinner in our backyard (with rented ovens in our garage). The flexibility was amazing, and it just couldn't have been better. Everyone working with Svetlana Catering was so kind and gifted at what they do, and felt part of the celebration (always professional, they also seemed happy to be there). I would give Svetlana Catering 10 stars if I could! Our wedding reception was perfect and stress and panic free. Polina worked with me on the menu, advising me what would work best for our situation and our complex guest list which included both omnivores and vegetarians. She did a pre-event consult in our home and her attention to detail was nearly frightening. She pointed out details that I had not thought of. The day of the reception Polina's crew arrived and very efficiently proceeded to set up for the party. They took care of all the rentals needed and set up the bar and tables and chairs on the patio. The food was marvelous and we both heard several of our guests raving about how good it was. It was not only delicious, it was beautiful to look at, and was artfully presented. Polina's staff was AWESOME! Everyone was friendly, professional, unobtrusive and extremely helpful. After the party was over, they quickly and quietly packed up; they even mopped my kitchen floor! Would I use Svetlana Catering again? In a heartbeat!
