The dishes can't be cleaned, and the cup smells of detergent without even drinking. The water in it is making white cleaning foam.
Something you should definitely try! The best desert I've tried in a while!
Most of the dessert places all had like mid reviews so it was a matter of picking which one. We decided to try this place out since we were both thirsty. Employees were friendly and helpful. You can only pay with cash or Venmo. Kind of weird for being in 2025. Mine was supposed to be strawberry but yeah it’s mostly just strawberry flavored powder. I wished they used real fruit since there are markets selling fruit nearby. 2 stars is generous enough.
Simple place, one of the very few in town that stay open late. They have a wide assortment of desserts and what nots. Mostly based on mango (I know, shocking, right?), but you can get other things as well. They also have savory items in their menu. They do NOT take credit cards. Make sure to bring cash.
Not worth your money.
Mangos are not sweet, coconut cream/milk has no taste ( I am guessing that is mixed with water to reduce cost)....everything are so watery. It's my first time here, never coming back....
Not good at all.
small place with multiple waiters/waitresses and customers
the stark contrast between the lively vibe inside and the quietness outside makes you feel like taking a calorie vacation on an island
Love the glutinous rice balls desserts here 😋
I had a delightful experience at Sweet Mango Dessert Cafe! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic variety of unique and delicious desserts. I tried their signature mango pudding and a few other treats, and each one was a taste sensation! The flavors were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. It’s clear that Sweet Mango Dessert Cafe is passionate about their desserts, and it shows in every bite. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth—it's definitely worth a visit!

A good Chinese style dessert for the standards. We knew we wanted to have mango dessert and they had it. Mine was black rice with a milky icey thing on top, then mango chunks and a ball of mango ice on top. I took off stars for the loud music, long wait time for food and loud sound, something like a blender, that was on constantly for the 30+ minutes I was there.

I’ve never given a bad review because I always feel bad but this place deserves 0 star honestly.Only venture there if you're seeking a bout of FOOD POISONING! I ordered their mango drinks, dessert, and fried wings, which tasted a bit strange, but I shrugged it off. Later that night, I was doubled over with food poisoning symptoms. When I called the next day, they showed no concern, dismissing it as "not their problem." I spent over 50$ and that was their response. For three days, I was none stop throwing up, switching back and forth between hot & cold sweat, headache, bellyache, fever and going to restroom none stop.Terrible service and even worse food. SF food safety should literally shut this place down.

Visited last night. Food was great. The eggette was nice and crispy. What wasn’t so nice was the service. Our server acted like as if she was held as a hostage by the cafe and was forced to serve us. We were all shocked at the bad attitude and wanted to leave 0 tip but they’re cash only so we had no choice but to leave the change as a tip.

They only accept cash. In what age are they still accepting cash and making money by evading taxes? It’s not worth going to.
