Swig is basically the bar-shaped version of that sad little guy who rolls his windows down and cranks his stereo as loud as humanly possible, praying someone will glance over and validate his existence. The music here isn’t just loud — it’s this sloppy, chest-thudding bass that tries so desperately to say “Look at me!” that you can practically feel the insecurity vibrating through the walls.
And honestly? It made me feel a little sorry for whoever owns this place. The whole thing screams of someone trying to drown out a hollow ego with volume. Instead of building something with real heart or character, they just slam the bass higher, like noise can patch over the emptiness. It’s painfully obvious, and honestly, a little embarrassing to witness.
If you’re the kind of person who enjoys watching a full-blown identity crisis set to subwoofer, maybe you’ll love it. Everyone else will just walk away shaking their head at how hard this place tries — and how little it has to show for it.

The waitress made us buy a bottle of Dom Perignon , got a $80 tip & shut the place down. Last call with a full bottle ! We left the bottle unfinished & walked out. Lived in this city for 30 years. This is the first time something like this happened. The music was what made us walk into the place. Alas. AVOID this tourist trap
