Visited this place without any revoews/suggestions while strolling around the pier. Our choice of the restaurant was b(i)ased on the scenic view the restaurant offered from the level 1 of the restaurant. The pier and ocean view was mind blowing! We went there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was very free and the service was great. We ordered a started on prawn with cocktail sauce and 2 main course on salmon and basa. I overall felt that evrything was very bland and was just boiled and presented with dressings. The prawn was simply boiled and presented in a cocktail glass. The basa fried was deep fried and toped up with raw mango and was ok. We didnt finish the prawn as it was very bland. I ordered a pinacalodo mocktail which was very fresh and damn good. We were also served with a complimentary roasted garlic bread which was ok.

We were guests with 5 people on New Year's Eve. We were looking forward to a cozy evening with good food. However, the visit to the restaurant really brought the evening down. The location on the peer is great. After we were offered the drafty table right at the entrance and I declined, we were offered a good table. We ordered starters such as salad and soup as well as main courses. The service seemed friendly, but had absolutely no overview of their tables. After 10 minutes we received the main course. The starter was still missing. The bread was forgotten. A drink at the table too. So before we could toast we had to eat the main course. I refused. Ultimately I was served a dried main course which was kept warm in the oven. The highlight of the bad service was when we were served the soup starter as a second course and we were asked three times during the meal whether we would like a dessert. When we said no, we were immediately presented with the bill. I have never experienced such poor service in many weeks in the USA. Miserable. Customers, go somewhere else. The Fog Harbor Restaurant right next door is much more recommended!

Clam chowder was a little watery, brothers salmon was covered in a sweet and spicy sauce. Something that you wouldn't find usually in an Italian restaurant. My ceaser salad lacked flavor in the dressing.

Service was amazing even for how big my party was & for how busy they were on New Year’s Eve. Didn’t get to take pics of everything. Had a Couple of Cocktails, The Golden Gate Sunrise was delicious and a nice Vodka Martini. Filet o Basa was one of my favorites along with the New York Strip. Servers were attentive and atmosphere was spectacular! Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for Italian & seafood while visiting SF.
