12/29Found that this place reopen. Exterior has new banner and interior totally renovated with new decor.Order the breakfast menu since that was why I was there in the first place. Not sure if menu items had changed or not, but what caught my eye and was ordered is the satay beef with noodle + butter toast + hot lemon water.Food is ok. Although the ingredients for the satay beef was there. However, it is lacking in taste. Didn't taste any satay at all or lack of.Still a full filling meal to start the day.

Really good and cheap HK style Chinese food. Ordered for delivery. Jook, shrimp & eggs over rice, and HK tea. All within exceptional taste for the price.

I was initially drawn in by the interesting selection of Chinese appetizers and soups, many of which were new to me despite living in the sunset for 5 years now. Deciding to go with the Shredded Pork and Snow Cabbage Noodle Soup, I was impressed at the large quantity despite being so affordable. Flavor was top notch. Will be back soon.

We ordered from T28 partially because it was close by (even though we ordered through DoorDash). The food arrived quickly and still hot. We ordered the Sampo porridge, dumpling soup, baked chicken steak with Portuguese sauce over rice, and street style rice rolls. Every item was full of flavor and the restaurant did not skimp on ingredients. The only drawback for delivery was that all the containers were packed up too tightly in one bag and the sauce from the rice rolls spilled all over all the other containers inside the bag--not enough to ruin how good we thought the food was though. Unless we come across any inconsistencies, we intend to order from T28 on a regular basis.

Excellent quality, friendly service, super clean, and delicious! They have the skinny noodles I’ve been looking all over for.

They have little to choose from and we ordered take out. The beef short ribs meat over rice was very tough and salty. The tofu and vegetables over rice was better but how can you muck up tofu? I do not recommend

I really wanted to like this place and add it to my list of regular restaurants to frequent but sadly, no...just no. We ordered a few things: 1) French Toast with barely there and weird "peanut butter" 2) Portuguese chicken sauce stir fried spaghetti - edible but not good 3) baked chicken with white sauce - edible but not good 4) popcorn chicken - batter tasted more like the fish in fish and chips. It was too much batter and oil tasted old/stale 5) French fries - sopped up all the old oil taste Considering this is a new restaurant, I would expect they would keep their frying oil clean. Frying oil needs to be changed daily and you might be able to mask it with sauces but definitely not with fries. I know this is a Chinese place but my daughter likes fries and this was very off putting. Never again.

Been ages since we were last here and noticed they were having a grand opening so decided to check it out. Looks like they remodeled the inside since we were last here. Service friendly but wonder if there's only one cook as our dishes came one by one. Only after 4 of my family's 6 meals were delivered was I told they ran out of Hainan chicken so I had to order something else. Decided on the pork chop and onion. Wish they cooked the onions more so it wasn't so strong tasting. Family ordered the pork and preserved egg and fish porridges. They noted that they were both good. Didn't need to add anything to flavor it more. Especially good with the you tiao - hot and crispy - that they ordered another one. Another good dish was the salt and pepper tofu. Daughter ordered the avocado and egg sandwich - kinda pricey for $9.50, although the fries were hot and crispy. They have breakfast specials (porridge and a side dish) before 11am and weekday lunch specials. Might return for the specials but not so much for some of the other dishes.

Same classic menu items, newly remodeled interior. Service is still fast and good.

Good food in a nice environment :)

I'm guessing they're either under new ownership or had a remodel. Great food, their rice and pork chop over red sauce was fantastic. It's a great little HK cafe eatery and will definitely go back when I can!

We went to the grand opening and everything was nice! The environment was very friendly and service was fast too. The food was super yummy as well! I got the popcorn chicken and it was very flavorful. I'll be coming here again

Don’t let the looks fool you, place is legit. If they updated their look to a more modern cafe one, they could probably double their prices without anyone protesting - taste is very up to par. Friendly owner.
