Authentic.. super delicious.. the food was served fast and was all perfect. They are open late as well which is amazing. I wouldn't eat at the store if I had the choice but eating there is OK.

Tadka is a great place for dine in though ur not looking at ambience like the Amber Cafe but certainly its better than Shalimar. 1. I ordered Kadhai Paneer Spicy and it was very tasty and spicy 2. The garlic naan was huge and lot of butter and distinct taste of garlic 3. Mango Lassi was great too 4. They also gave me onion lemon and chillies when I requested the same 5. Would have loved complimentary papad and pickle 6. Would also have loved if they kept fennel seeds for after food at the counter 7. If you are cricket fan, IPL highlights was on when I went

Based on the taste of goat biryani ( nom nom nom ) . It's the best Biryani I ever had . They are fast . Always ready in 10 mins ( TO GO ). Portion is kinda for two people but I'll just finished whole thing and be on food coma . It's spicy tho .

I came here to pick up food for delivery. When i left the restaurant after confirming the order, I saw a person who collapsed and seemed unconscious and decided to call 911 immediately. When i talked to 911 and paramedics came in, the guy from the restaurant comes out and starts disrespecting me for "not doing my job". Turns out I should just deliver the food and not care about a person who seemed dead a minute ago. Then, after disengaging, he comes back to insult and threaten me again. Great humanity we've got here. Shame on you!

My favorite Indian restaurant in all of San Francisco. I order the same 3 things here every week: daal, chana masala, and veg pakora. Simply unmatched in terms of flavor. Very rich, very well spiced. People at the restaurant are always friendly. Have taken friends here and gotten rave receptions as well. Always open late too, so amazing for a midnight snack. Huge fan.

Got the lamb biryani and tried the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan! The garlic naan was amazing to dip in the chicken tikka masala! I also enjoyed the lamb biryani - it was very flavorful and full of spices. The portions are also large and filling! Nice restaurant with casual ambiance

Can't wait to go back to Tadka and try more of their food options! I've been here twice and both times the food has been exceptional, flavorful, and the right amount of spice (although I may go spicier next time)! The first time I visited I got the Karahi Gosht with rice, samosa, garlic naan, and some Papadum. Everything was delicious. I did have some weird service, but nothing I can't look past for the food. The second time my boyfriend and I went and we decided to try a handful of different dishes; Peshawari Naan, goat biryani, chicken leg tandoori, and the mango lassi.Oh my god, I've never tried anything like the Peshawari Naan! It has a nice rich flavor with a slight sweetness that mixed perfectly with the biryani, but was just as good on its own.I've had homemade biryani which was killer and tried some at a different restaurant where it was really dry and hard to eat, so I was hesitant but had high hopes. This biryani was absolutely delicious! Incredibly flavorful with so many spices and a good amount of heat!Lastly, the tandoori was perfectly cooked. I've had dry tandoori at a few places and almost decided not to get it but we decided to give it a try last minute and I'm SO GLAD we did!!! Perfectly crispy on the outside with a bunch of flavor and soft and tender on the inside! If you notice one theme of this review, I hope it's FLAVOR! This place packs in so much into each dish and they are all so well curated. I absolutely enjoyed every single thing we've had so far and I can't wait to go back!I think the owner served us, we complimented the Peshawari Naan. He told us that he lived in Scotland (?) for a few years and it's his personal twist!

I have eaten here several times and am always impressed by the depth of flavor in the dishes. I came here with family members who had never tried any Indian food (one who is spice-adverse) and they loved it.
