What a great restaurant! The food is amazing! I love that you use the spongy, thin, bread to grab the food and eat that way. They also provide forks if you choose not to eat the traditional way. But they have a great menu with meat or vegetarian options. The sambussas are so good and have a little spice to them and the sauce they serve with them is amazing and spicy! Also love having Ethiopian beer with it. And finished it off with an Ethiopian tea. Can't wait to go back...
Everything on the menu us delicious. I'm vegetarian so I go for those dishes. I have never been disappointed and a I have eaten Ethiopian food since the early 1980's. I am old, but I know what is good and this is the best in the city.
Gorgeous deep flavors. I had the vegetarian plate (sampling of four dishes). The red chickpea dish was outstanding, as were the beets and the dressing on the side salad. My friend commented when enjoying the portion I'd brought home that they liked how the food was not oversalted, thus you can taste the full flavors of the vegetables and spices. Beautiful clean food.
