Foods awesome for the price. The yellow eel is clearly frozen obviously, so it has close to zero flavor. Everything else is awesome though.

We asked the waitress for no added salt and MSG. I have high blood pressure. Food came out perfect. We ordered two clay pots, 5-spice spareribs & seafood which included shrimp and fish filet pieces. The crispness of the rice was perfect. The jasmine rice was fragrant. I liked the bitter melon with beef. The yu choy in soup was just ok, and I wound not get that again. I plan to return and try some other dishes.

Came here for a late lunch and there were plenty of tables available. They had a tv showing a Chinese cooking show. Service was fast. Clay pots had a very nice crisp to all the edges. The rice was well flavored from the ones we ordered. Spare ribs was standard. Lamb was really good. Definitely more than a person serving each.

A small hole in the wall restaurant that passerbys might miss, this Taishan establishment serves great claypot rice and other Cantonese staples. Get the five-spice duck. I highly recommend people visit this place, especially since the prices are very reasonable.

Decent fried rice and tofu stew. Service is very slow and they don’t speak English well- Google translate helped so it was all good!

The food is very tasty, depending on what u order. The dishes in the clay pot are very flavorful, but the dishes in the lotus leaves were lacking some flavor and sauce. Their veggies were cooked to perfection... Definitely worth a try! My favorite is #3.

Came for dinner to try something different from our regular HK style food. My mom's family is from Toisan. They speak Toisan here and understand Canto.
Foodbis basic confort food. Super yum crispy rice at the bottom of the clay pot is a must. Nothing was bad. All delicious, and I can't wait to bring my mom. Enough food for leftovers the next day!

Super underrated, big portions and food is excellent.

Service that’s terrible, don’t know how to authentically cook taishan style rice. The meat tastes like red wine and was inedible because of that. The waitress kept hurrying me to pay all the time. Even for the 90s, this places interior was disgusting, with most of the utensils they give you are dirty.

Food is amazing here! The clay pot rice got some magnificent crispiness to it. Highly recommend getting the duck and the chives stir fry as well.

The price is really good for the quality of the food!

They take a break around 3 and reopen around 5, but if you call ahead and ask they will serve you.
