It was just okay. Thin broth, small portion, and the flavor was a bit odd.
I ordered the lunch special but didn’t get the sides. I was too distracted and tired to complain, so maybe that’s on me.
They charge junk fees, so expect an extra 4% charge on top of the menu price.
There is much better ramen for lower or equal prices in SF, even in the same neighborhood.

Small portions.
Taishoken is pretty decent ramen spot, the atmosphere is nice and inviting, the staff is friendly and quick, and the ramen is a little different but tasty.
However, the portion size is super small and the prices are higher than most places in the city.
I’ve never walked away from any ramen hungry, but did here. It comes with one piece of chashu instead of two (you can pay for extra) and I had two pieces...

I will definitely be coming back here!
Went on a Friday and it was super busy so I’d recommend making reservations especially if you have a bit of a larger party
