This restaurant l restaurant has a handful of minor flaws for their higher prices.

We started with their happy hour appetizers: TSK fries and fried cauliflower. The fries tasted great with the seasoning, but it kept falling off so most bites were plain. The cauliflower was well-executed but uninteresting. We also tried a sake flight, which was excellent and showed a lot of variety.

For mains, we ordered dipping noodles and spicy miso ramen....
One of the best ramen places in the city. The menu is quite simple but has all the types of ramen/noodle/appetizer dishes you’d want. I highly recommend the fried cauliflower happy hour dish. Of the ramen choices, there really isn’t a bad option. I really appreciated the rich, flavorful broth and they did not skimp on the toppings. Would definitely come again
The tsukemen, as expected, was very good. I could’ve spared myself the appetizers. The calamari was a bit bland and the gyoza were deep fried vs. pan fried. I don’t think that’s a matter of personal taste but more likely a faster pick-up. It wasn’t what I was expecting at a Japanese eatery with any authenticity. The service was fine. Watching a particular person stack the dishes as high as possible was amusing if nothing else. I’m glad I tried the noodle. It was memorable.
