This is a terrific Indian restaurant Simple and unassuming, they do excellent service and cooking. I had the goat buriyani which I highly recommend. Indian with a Nepalese twist. Excellent value for money too.

We were looking for a good Indian spot before heading home and Taj looked pretty solid so we gave it a shot. Had the lamb chops, Saag Paneer, coconut rice, and garlic Naan. Everything was great the lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection! They asked about spice level for the Saag Paneer. Very tasty. They also have a yummy Chai. Really good spot. Ill definitely come again. The service was awesome as well. Really attentive and the vibe and music is great. Loved the fresh flowers on the table.

Sep, 14, 25 - Wife and I went in for a Sunday lunch after a quick trip to GGB. The ambience was a little underwhelming. Ordered chicken kabab, saag-channa, roti and garlic naan. While waiting, we ordered masala tea. It was a 11/10. The food was just excellent - everything we ordered tasted fresh, not too buttery and just the perfect amount of spices. Paired with tea, it was the best Indian food we had eaten in a long time. We were visiting from Seattle, and this place easily beats all the fancy places we had been to. Excellent service.

Absolutely superior food! Mattar Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Cumin Rice, Garlic Naan, Chai and Gulab jamun. Everything was so delicious with great depth of flavor. So satisfying. Our waiter was friendly and down to earth. I have been thinking about this meal several times since yesterday, savoring how good it was. Anytime we are in the Richmond district, we will make sure to stop in at Taj!

Finally giving this new(ish) spot in the neighborhood now that they have some time to settle in. Went with a Chicken Tikka Masala, Rice and some Garlic Naan. Instead of my usual go to Mango Lassi I went with a Salted Lassi. The Salted Lassi was nice and a good balance to the Masala (just know it’s a salted plain yogurt drink and not sweet like a Mango Lassi is). Overall impressions of the food and experience is decent. Great Masala Sauce, but unfortunately the chicken was a bit dry and chewy on the day I had it. The Garlic Naan was great and very tasty with the sauce. Value was ok, but note you have to pay $4 for rice to go with a $16 entree as rice is not included with the entree.. All in all it was a bit of a pricy lunch for one at $32 before tip. My suggestion is to go with a group to share different dishes family style. Decor is pretty basic, but very clean and nice service by staff.

The cauliflower manchurian was really spicy so beware, it tasted good though. The paneer korma was tasty as well
Today we wanted to eat out, but we wanted comfort food after a long day in the city and this restaurant hit the spot! The ambiance and food is amazing, we were so impressed by the amount of love you could taste in every bite, reminded our family of eating back home (punjab)! We thanked the chef for his service and will definitely be going back!

Still as good as the first time! The chick pea veggie fritters were amazing! So is the curry! Super yummy!
First time here and I was pleasantly surprised! Food is very good! I was wondering why my tea took a bit to get, they brew it and it’s milk chai. We had the tandoori salmon and the veggie basmati rice and it was amazing! Service is good, they are very nice and the prices are good! Will definitely be coming back!

I just got back from an excellent meal from this restaurant and the food here was really good. The rice 🍚 dish was very well prepared and the service was very nice and the overall ambiance was very nice for an Indian restaurant. I highly recommend people try this place out. I give them 5 stars all around.

I’m a regular at this restaurant, and my usual orders are Lamb Biryani and Rasmalai. The best dishes here are the Chicken Chow Mein, Chef’s Special Lamb Curry, and their Biryanis. The Chicken Chow Mein stands out with its rich Nepali-style flavors—totally different (and better!) than typical Chinese fried noodles. After the meal, I always treat myself to something sweet, and their Rasmalai is hands-down the best—it’s my signature favorite! The server (a young lady) was very energetic and explained the menu thoroughly. The service at this restaurant is truly excellent!
